avidollo Thermos Vacuum Insulated 16 Ounce Stainless Steel Water Bottle, Green

Recently, my old thermos gave up the ghost so I decided to get a new one. After an hour of research, I was conflicted. There are quite a few options out there and I couldn't make up my mind on which one to take. Do I drop the dough and get a more expensive thermos or do I take a chance and buy a cheap one and risk having it be a piece of junk. Luckily, the risk with the Avidollo Thermos paid off.This is a great little thermos. It is fairly small compared to some thermoses, but it still holds enough coffee/tea/etc. to keep me sated throughout periods where I need the caffeine. The bottom has an anti-friction pad on it that prevents it from tipping over as easily. The inside is made of 304 stainless steel (the most common kind you will find) and holds 16 ounces of liquid. There is a stopper that helps to seal the beverage inside to prevent spilling, keep your drink warm or cold, and serves as an openable spout from which you can pour your beverage into the included cup or a cup of your own. The cup is also the lid for the thermos. The cup holds about 1/4-1/5 of the total liquid in the thermos allowing you to easily divvy up your coffee if you are trying to space it out.It is highly recommended that you prime the thermos before using it. While your coffee is brewing, fill the thermos with hot water from the sink and let it sit for about five minutes. Not only will this warm the inside walls of the thermos, keeping your beverage warmer for longer, it also helps to preserve the metal by gradually warming it instead of shocking it with scalding temperatures.As far as the price point, this is about as low as it comes. You won't find another thermos with this quality for any cheaper.Overall, the Avidollo Thermos is an excellent thermos and something I could definitely recommend if you want something of quality without breaking the bank. As for the longevity of the product, I cannot make a remark as I only recently acquired it. If the current quality is of any indication, it will serve me for years to come.

VERY POOR PERFORMANCE. I bought a DIFFERENT item under the same name about a year ago. That one will keep liquid put in at 170 degrees to 130 deg 10 hours later. The new item has thinner walls and an uninsulated cap, and it drops 170 deg to 98 over the same 10 hours, barely body temperature! In addition, and very disturbing because it is a kind of fraud, Amazon has gone back and REPLACED the details of my original purchase with those for this new one. When I REORDERED a couple of weeks ago, the description was correct for what I originally bought, but now it shows the new item! And they swapped the original quantity (4) for the new (2), compounding the lie.

I liked this product at first. It is very sleek looking and a nice design. I put this in my lunch box and several times noticed there had been a little coffee leaked out and spilled. I once had almost the entire thing spilled in my lunch box before I realized if tipped back it would pour out the back of the lid when closed like it was completely open!! If I do use this now I have to be extremely careful that it doesn't tip over or it will leak. I am bummed as I wanted something I could throw easily in a purse or lunch box and not have to worry.

I rinsed out the thermos but didnt notice a little packet of something stuck inside the bottle. No wonder the water on day1 had an off flavor. I was ready to return it. Decided to give it one more try using fresh bottled water. So next time I went to fill it I noticed the packet and removed it. After that the water had absolutely perfect taste. I'm very satisfied. The company included a card, says they will give me an Amazon gift card for my honest review. Here it is.

Update: Does NOT keep my coffee hot after a few hours like it did the first week I bought it and it does leak! In the process now of returning it. Got it September 13th, and returning it October 2nd. The flask doesn’t hold up to its description unfortunately.This is the cutest thermos I have ever had. The white one although it sort of looks more ivory with tiny sparkles. It’s just the right size for my cup holder in my vehicle which is what I really wanted. Plus the little cup with the handle makes it perfect to carry. I’m very glad with my purchase!! NOT ANYMORE IM NOT!!

Pros:-Keeps liquid hot or warm for a long time just as advertised-Sturdy-Perfect Size-Can drink from cup (recommended option for hot liquids)-Leak proofCons:-The design of the spout makes it very difficult and awkward to drink out of and too much water comes out although it pours easily into the cup (just not a mouth). Due to this I will most likely be returning it because it is hard for me to drink and too much cold at once liquid hurts my gums.

I got this for carrying tea to my graduate seminars. Unfortunately, I was not able to make the date to return it. I wanted something that would not leak, and this certainly did. I placed it horizontally in my lunch box- this placement is why I prioritized something that would not leak. It would probably hold up well if it isn't placed on its side.Kind of a hassle to clean, but I lack bottle brushes or any proper equipment, so that's probably more on me than the product.It kept my tea piping hot for a lot longer than expected, so it's almost perfect.

This is indeed a quality-based thermos. It's light weight so it won't drag my arm to the ground while holding it and the contents within. Plus, I love the strong color of black that radiates on the product. And the see through mug/top is considered, to me to be, an ingenious concept because I appreciate being outside and enjoying the sun reflecting on the contents while drinking a cup of iced or hot coffee or chocolate. And if something drops in the mug by accident, it would be more noticable to be discovered in this perticular mug. Plus, the price can't be beat!
