Easy to use and a great value.
Easy to use and a great value. I bought these and a box of name brand bags at the same time. They all got mixed together and I honestly couldn't tell the difference. They all worked equally as well. I used them to pack for a vacation trip. They saved me so much space that I over packed, lol. I re-used them to pack for the return trip and they worked just as well. I have them stored in my suitcase for the next time we travel. I wish I had bought them a long time ago. The best tip I read someone else post was to sit on them to remove the air. Worked like a charm!

Perfect for travel
For me, it was perfect for traveling. I travel with only a carry-on and it was idea for packing and having enough space to pack the things I needed. I was able to stay within weight and pack everything neatly. Easy to use, no need for a vacuum. Just follow the instructions, start rolling from the side opposite of the opening and once all the air is out seal it. It's just that simple, all the air stays in.

Great Price for the Quality
I liked the bags for traveling overseas. It was pretty easy to use, but it wasn't a great as I expected. It saved space but not as much as I expected. They remained air tight for a while but lost air over a day or so, meaning you cannot pre-pack too far in advance. I didn't use them on my return trip because it was just as easy and saved the same amount of space to simply roll my clothing.

Easy to use, SUPER helpful.
So when I was reading a few reviews others had left I wanted to clarify a few things. The closure device worked great, not even once did I have an issue closing the bag. There is a pressure release at the end of the bags just like they say there is. It's a double line that allows air to escape the from the bottom...BUT you need to be careful when you're trying to compress the bag. First off, make sure the flap (opposite the zipper seal) is nice and free and not digging into your bed or anywhere else you're rolling it up. Secondly, just put some pressure on the bag, don't try to pop it like a balloon or anything, just steady pressure and if it's still not releasing the air from the bag then try checking the flap again, maybe even move it up and down. I honestly found the best way to release the air was to place it on the bed and lay my chest on top of it, so it creates the constant pressure needed. It's kinda like when you're just laying there on your stomach but if you had a pillow under your chest. It's pretty painless after that, I sometimes used my hands to compress it as well why i was laying on it but in the end it was under 10 seconds per bag. It works though, my wife and I both were able to fit 5 days worth of clothes into carry-on's...and that's the SMALLER types that Alaskan airlines are using now.

Not quite what I was hoping for
The bags are quite large and do not fit well in underseat luggage. They probably would fit better in 20" -- or larger, even better. The plastic is very thick so would probably last.Instructions were lacking, or I somehow overlooked them. I found on YouTube you roll from the bottom (the not zip lock part) and a valve you don't see lets the air out then seals the bag when the air is gone. It might be obvious to some, but since there was no discernable valve, it was not to me.I also have nylon packing cubes by ProTravel. I orefer those, by a long way, now that I have compared. I'm going back to them. I can fit as much into them and they are not stiff like these plastic compression bags so they conform better to the space in the suitcase, leaving almost wasted space.Apparently these bags work well for some people -- I don't doubt their assessment. I'm just saying that, in my case, I wouldn't buy again.

Better off with a Hefty Bag...literally!
Had really high hopes for this having the ratings. I selected the travel size since I needed it for small packing. I used them for packing my lingerie/undergarments. So my articles were not very bulky to begin with. The “rolling” was a mess. It undid my folding and moved the clothes up, forcing the air to break open the seal and cheap plastic slider as well. My folding were all messed up and now it looked like I just threw clothes in the. Ag carelessly. I had to modify and refold the lingerie, place them inside carefully, and fold the bag over it. Then I had to add weight to get the air out BY SITTING OR KNEELING on it, that way the air is properly pushed out without messing up my folded pieces. I literally got the same, actually better results with a slider HEFTY ZIP BAG! Extremely disappointed. Honestly sitting on a Hefty slider bag full of clothes is more effective and cheaper. Now there’s a hack!I attached photos comparing the Hefty bag and the “Vac Best” bag. I hate to write a bad review but I am just being honest.

Excellent product in terms of storage and for travel
I wanted to compare how these fared vs mt REI Expandable packing cube set. The bag you see is an REI Big Haul 40l duffel. The first picture shows my clothes just folded in my bag. it is almost full. The 2nd shows my clothes in the packing cubes...compressed. As you can see there is space in the middle but the cubes almost reach the top. The final picture shows the compression bags. While they do cover the entire of the bottom of the bag, the height only reaches about 1/3 of the way up. plenty of room for more clothes or other items. I am impressed. I only used 2 bags and have numerous other ones for other items like storing a blanket, etc. AND FOR A FRACTION OF THE COST. I highly recommend these bags.

Good quality
Material is thick enough, can withstand strong force. Feels durable enough.
