American Legal English, 2nd Edition: Using Language in Legal Contexts (Michigan Series In English For Academic & Professional Purposes) 2nd Edition

This is a very good review of American Legal terms filled with Hypos and examples. It is useful for the beginner, intermediate, or one for whom English is not a second language.

I bought the book. Now I need someone to give me a hint about where I can buy the CD. That's ridiculous it does not come together with the book. The boom itself is really well arranged and helpful

This is a textbook. I found it very useful in my legal English classes. Kudos to the writers.

Good for teachers

It’s silly to sell this without the audio. First assignment: Legal listening and Speaking with questions to answer based on a conversation model that we don’t have access to because no audio is provided with the text. I’m disappointed and a little angry. Now I have to wait for a different book to ship to Europe, so I can finish my lesson plan.

The book is a disappointment. While I did note there us an Audio CD to buy I thought there would be one included for the listening exercises in the book. The price of the Audio CD is ridiculous and I have personally never purchased a book that does not have one included. Also, there is no answer key. I am going to ask for a refund because the information is misleading and the book is not suitable as sold.

I would like to return this item. The description of the item is almost deceptive. This book is not a self-study book at all. Does not include an answer key to the excercises. Is design to work in a class, as a text book but not as a self-study book: works in couples, supervision of a teacher to work with this book? not of this is included at the description of the book in amazon. When you compare with another books like "International Legal English" or "The Lawyer's English Language Course Book", they did include answer key on the book. Please, I know that has been a while but I did open the book today and is a complettely wrong information about the book, at least. Best, David Camps

法律英語をこれから勉強しようとする者には良書。非常に平易な英語で、最低限の法律英語を習得するための構成が組まれている。海外ロースクール留学のための準備などには適切であると思われる（もちろん、実際留学に行った後に期待される内容と比べると、かなり平易な内容である）。
