The grass looks very realistic if you spend some time brushing it. I spent a while brushing it, and putting sand onto it so the blades stay upright. To keep the cost down I used play sand as an infill and it seems to work just as well as the expensive infill.Just FYI if you buy more than 1 of these, they can come in slightly different colors. I have mine with a 2 feet gap between them and it's pretty easy to tell they are a different color.* 1 year update - It still looks great! It was in the direct hot sun over the Arizona summer and held up nicely. In comparison I bought some cheaper stuff off ebay that I put in a different part of the yard and it failed horribly over the summer. About halfway through the summer, I noticed the cheaper grass blades dried up and when I stepped on them, they crumbled into dust and the rubber backing was showing. I removed the cheaper grass and now i plan on buying more of this stuff, just hope it stays the same quality.

I bought two of these one on lighting and the other normal price at the same time. Both arrived at the same time. I opened the first and it was amazing and so worth the money but then I opened the second one. Not sure what I got but it is nothing and I mean nothing like the first one I opened. This one had ruff flat grass The was so thin it laid on the ground like a thin carpet. I saw every line through it and the color was not a nice green. The first one was green and looked like real grass. Even walking on it it reminded me of the real thing. What a shame that I paid so much for what was to be the same item and I got a high end and a cheap end one.

The first one we purchased a couple weeks ago is AWESOME! Sadly though, the second one we got today looks NOTHING like the first one. The grass is more blue and flat, with no blades sticking up and it's so thin you can see every bump of the ground underneath. I have contacted the seller and will revise my review once they can send replacement. You can see the comparison photos as well as the one that is JUST the grass sent today and the third photo is the gorgeous one we got a couple weeks ago.

I read about this particular product for months. Read reviews and searched other reviews before finally making my purchase. It was easy to install and I was excited to have one area for my dogs so I didn't have to go on the search for their little presents. After the first day, I noticed a smell of strong urine. I have spent about 200 dollars trying to remove the smell to no avail. It has been a month and the headaches from smelling the strong urine smell are unbearable. Now I am going to be out another 2-500 dollars trying to fix this issue. I have never been so disappointed in a product in all my life. I usually do not write bad reviews but feel it is my duty to save somebody else from wasting a thousand dollars like I am to have a dog run.

Unbelievable. This turf looks more real than my professionally manicured creeping red fescue and miscellaneous other breeds, doted over and manicured weekly by professionals

So far so good. Clean up is easy. Will see how it does during the winter months. I used stepping stones to weight it at each end and smaller stones to trap the sides and fill in the gap.

I bought this for the floor of my greenhouse... I had mulch down but it was hard on bare feet. I laid this over the mulch and it has been great. Love that it feels and looks like real grass and also that I can water my plants without this item mildewing or ruining from the water like indoor /outdoor artificial grass does.

It would look good if any of the 5 rolls I ordered actually matched. I ordered the same grass from the same vendor and none of them match. One of them is way off and doesn’t even look like the same type of grass. It looks like a cheaper version of what I ordered.
