IBCLC Exam Flashcard Study System: Lactation Consultant Practice Test Questions and Review for the International Board Certified Lactation Consultant Examination

Pro: I purchased the IBCLC Exam flashcard study system and so far so good. I like that each card is packed full of information that very concise. In this way, they are exactly what I was looking for and needed.Con:In my past experIence I am use to medical / medication flash cards for nursing school coming with a storage box. I was surprised that these cards came packaged the way they did (in page form vs separate cards) and I had to separate the cards. I truly thought they would come already as separate cards and in their own box. Of course I can separate perforated cards, but it just threw off my focus for a bit. I found myself trying to make sure all 300 cards were in order and then I find that the box I have to store Flashcards in is for regular size 3x5 index cards; so it is too short and wont close.I am Type A personality, so this is bothersome, but I am dealing with my demons and pressing on.Thanks so much for your products,Soon to be, BSN, RN, IBCLC ☺

the explanations are very thorough and comprehensiveI like that they are flash cards to help retain information betterI do wish there was a better way to organize them

These cards are great. My only wish is that they were (or anything to study for IBCLC) in audio format.

I am happy with this product. It breaks down all of the exam content and focuses on the main concepts. It makes studying easier and more organized.

Just ok. Was thinking more of quick flash cards

The flash cards information is consistent with the material covered in my lactation certification class. The cards information is concise, the text is easy to read, and can be carried in my purse for convenience.

Thankful that I was able to purchase this product. It was affordable and easy to use. I love the instructional video on how to best use the product.

I bought this to study for the IBCLC boards. I have been a lactation consultant for over 10 years. I searched high and low and could not find resources used to create these flash cards. Waste of money. Overall I felt the material wasn't relevant either.

So I brought these to help me prepare for my IBCLC exam. They came quickly and well packaged. They were printed together so you have to operate them into small flash cards but this was easy as they were perforated. The info on the cards are quite general and not written as test questions which I was expecting. However for someone starting off with limited knowledge in lactation this is a good starting point. It gives a good explanation on topic areas which will be covered in the exam but they do not prepare you for how the exam questions would appear.
