Perfect little reel.I got the 2000 version and was paired with tha Akataka rod. When for a little bit of fishing and it perform real good,smoth casting and retrieve,and also have a smooth drag. Not too heavy or light is perfect. I will recomend to a friend that doesn't want to spend a lot of money in a reel. Also looks good with a the black and orange accents.

I purchased this reel as I like to fish, I am not a die hard fisherman, but I like to go out with my kids and see what we can do. My old reel went out on me, and was looking for a similar size and reel to replace it with that would not break the bank, and this reel met those needs. It is super smooth reeling and casting. I look forward to many years use with this reel.

Great reel for the price so far--only had it a few weeks. Threw it on a Akuma with some 20 pound braid. I am trying to specifically use this to target bass fishing.Taken this reel out a few times so far. Has felt really good in my hands. Light. Solid. 11 BB Really smooth action. I like how it is putting the really thick bails on a lot of spinning reels now. Allows me to flip it closed after each cast with confidence. Very reasonable price !

This reel is very sturdy and a good deal. My husband who is an avid fisherman was impressed by the quality. We are currently using it on a bass rod. Casts and reels smooth.

I like the fact that it is so smooth when reeling in a fish, it casts very good, and I fished in the rain, let it dry out and fished with it again the next day and there was no problems like I’ve had in the past with reels. All in all it’s a great reel for the price
