Mrs. Renfro's Salsa, Ghost Pepper, Hot, 16 oz

This salsa has a very good taste and consistency. For me, mild salsa is just a nice condiment, suitable for infants or the infirm. Medium salsa is interesting. It's got some flavor, there is some spice there. You at least know that the scoville chart exists. Hot salsa is just fine. Nice attempt. Thanks for contributing. Good Job! But I buy habanero powder in BULK. I know what I'm about.This salsa though.... This is on a different level. It is hot. It is very hot. Head sweat in 1 minute hot. It is as hot as any other really hot stuff I've eaten. 10/10. It also has a very good flavor, like I said.The issue is the sequel. The encore. The second coming. Now, admittedly, I had a lot of this salsa in a short amount of time, but basically you can go to the legendary sugar free gummy bear reviews on this site and add in horrendous burning pain like passing a napalm coated cactus, and that would summarize my afternoon after eating this salsa.But, it's good, so I had some more the next day.

Love this product. Use it in eggs and tacos. I love the taste and a bit of chunks of tomatoes and peppers

I can handle hot, and nothing really gets me but this one did lol. It was very spicy. I have done hot wing challenges and passed with flying colors, so based on that I’d give this salsa a 7 on a scale of 1-10. Made me hot!

I am not one of those who consume Ghost Peppers for fun. But I do appreciate some heat in my foods. This product has a good amount of heat. The mangos come through clear. I do not find it too sweet. My one knock is that I detect a presence of a "smokey" taste in the salsa. Almost as though some one dunked their brisket or ribs in the jar! Other than that, the salsa's pretty good. Time will tell if I re-order.

No other ghost pepper salsa has matched the flavor and quality of this one. It was available at many stores in Michigan, but since I moved to TX the best/easiest place I've found to order it is Amazon. This doesn't change the flavor of your food, but if you like HOT, it definitely ups the ante. Spaghetti sauce and chili are especially amenable to this addition but you can really use it on any food when you need "just the heat."

If you like hot foods, this is a must-try! You will cry, you will hop around, you will scream, you will complain and then you will reach for more... It is hot in a good way, not an acidy-in-your-face kind of hot, this hotness is thick, rich, mature and unfolds in your mouth over time. If you have or ever had Tums in your house or even know what Tums are - this is NOT for you :) A super idea for the Friday office treat. I brought a couple of salsas and a few bags of chips and I swear, people bond over this stuff just laughing at the reactions.

As good as any store bought brand. I guess I just like the home maid stuff a bit better.Heat temp is low medium. If you like heat, you will be disappointed.

I picked this up on a whim for a meal that I never ended up cooking. It has since become my favorite salsa on the market!!It’s amazing with huevos con chorizo, chips and salsa, mixed with sour cream as a dipping sauce or quesadilla topping. I love the heat and the mango mixed together!
