Almost a good product
The strap slip then the guards wiggle all around. The strap is not thick enough for the catches. The way it comes down over the shoe is real nice and the material is great. However all of the goodness is useless if it just flaps around when you try to walk. Bought these at the same time I bought a pair by Foreverlast. 9 months later the others still work fine.

Just came back from my second hike.they worked just great. after a few minutes of wearing them I forget I have them on . today it was very hot out. I sweated a lot under neath my long pant , but it was still not uncomfortable. I haven't had to test them with a rattlesnake yet and I hopeI never will. but its nice to have the protection not only from snakes but cat claw and mesquite

Excellent Product!
Definitely would recommend this product for anyone that hunts, hikes, explores, etc. Have not had the bad fortune to try out on a snake, but definitely prevents cactus sticks!

Sure hope they work
Very well designed product. Haven't had a chance to field test these yet, but sure hope they work when you need them. Not looking forward to seeing if they work if you get my drift. Light weight, fairly comfortable, easy to put on/off and would recommend them. Only reason they didnt get 5 stars is because I don't know how effective they are in the field, and hope I won't ever find out 😓

Just what we needed for hiking
We've only had a short hike using the snake guards so it's hard to really rate them, but they are comfortable, sized right and just what we needed for backcountry hikes. Once we get a chance to use them more, I can come back and update my review. I can't rightfully give them a 5 star rating just yet, but they seem to be good quality, comfortable and easy to use as well as functional.
