Great Router
Great router, Had some problems with it loosing signal but after I spoke to CS and we changed the 2.4ghz from Auto to channel 6 everything work great. Please don't disable your guest sign in because you will need it, if you make the above change everything works like it is suppose to. Also I didn't have to use the cd I just plugged it in and it worked.

Good
It has worked flawlessly. I replace another identical unit that had broken down after a few years. I bought this one again because my network was ready to go for this model. I unplugged the old and plugged in the new, and it even picked up the IP address of my printer and scanner. I had it running in minutes.

The 5 GHZ does not work right all the time
Very good technical support and phone / e-mail help. The only issue is that it did not worked. To much issues with software and I had to spend a lot of time just to install. I really was expecting no issues, plug and play... If I can still say that. The 2.4 GHZ is OK, but the 5GHZ just died, so you have to reset, and die again and you have to reset. After some time you have to remove the software from the computer and install again, and reset, and.... at the end the 1300 MHZ in 5GHZ channel does not work, so why spend U$ 200.00 in just 2.4 GHZ. The quality of the construction, product, strength, etc.. is excellent, it does the 5 GHZ does not work. I tested the new Apple, and now is my reference, simply you do not have to do nothing, just "plug and play" .. This is the best for me or even the Asus. Not Belkin. My third Belkin, the last two had this issue with 5 GHZ. The first one just 2.4 GHZ it is excellent.I must add that I am very happy because Belkin is contacting me to try to solve this issue. It is amazing a company tracks the reviews and ask to help. This is excellent. I just wanted to add this comment to say thanks for Belkin.

Not quite the product I was hoping for,
No installation CD, no product manual. This gave me a fit setting up. At the time of this writing it is as flaky as the linksys wrt300n it is replacing (therefore a large disappointment). I was expecting more bandwidth (successful) greater range (unsuccessful) and a more solid network (not yet there). Belkin tech support is no help, the want money and a recurring maintenence contact - hard sell, be warned)Edit, 3/2/2014This has really been a nightmare. Today, instead enjoying my Sunday with loved ones, I spent 4+ hours (and 5 calls) with Belkin tech support. They attempted to blame everything else for the issue, cable modem, PC, to many devices, etc. Believe the write-ups when they discuss how bad Belkin's tech support and this router is. Unstable Internet connection, very poor signal, little bandwidth and can only be used on channels 1,6 or 11per their tech support. It has been an extreamly frustrating experience. I would recommend anything else, Not This! Look elsewhere for your router needs.

Good router until a firmware update
Going back to 2013 when I originally bought this - Setup was easy and it has all kinds of features including Self Healing which reboots the router on a programmable schedule. I only gave it 4 stars because the IntelliStream could not auto-detect my speed which wasn't that big of an issue since I was able to manually enter it. I'm not really sure if it did anything anyway. I never had any problems with connectivity and the throughput seemed consistent.Flash forward about 2 years to 2015 - I found there was a new firmware (which by this point is already a year old, released in Dec. 2014). The update process was painless as the router has been. After the update, I did noticed that at lease once a month, sometimes multiple days in a week, I would lose the internet. I called my ISP and after cussing at them several times, it was determined the router was unresponsive. The light on the router indicated no issues but when I tried to access it via the browser, I was unable to connect. The only thing that would help would be to pull the power on the router and reboot. Then I remembered the Self Healing feature... but to my dismay, it wouldn't reboot when it was supposed to. This indicates to me the router is actually frozen so the only fix so far is to pull the power. And for this, I took away another 2 starts. In summary, it was a great router until I updated to the latest firmware. Since technology changes so quickly and this is a 3 year old technological dinosaur, it appears that I will be in the market for another router. The question I face is whether to make it another Belkin product.

very fast good buy
Hey I saw a new AC router for $99 let alone the belkin flagship and I bought on the spot. On inspection I saw that the new v2 version has added 1 USB 3.0 in the back.. :) I used the web page setup at 192.168.2.1 very simple if you know what you are doing.

Belkin AC 1800 DB Wi-Fi Dual-Band AC+ Gigabit Router (F9K1118)
It's pretty darn fast at a price that rocks. I wish it had a bit more range in the house but I think that's due to the thickness of areas the signal has to get through. Great for streaming and video and it's pretty quick with multiple devices hooked up too.

Great Product
This is a good router, constant speed on 5ghz band, but doesn't transmit very far, in the same room as the router I get full bars, in the next room approx 50ft from router I get disconnected, then I have to connect to the 2.4ghz band.
