Recently I have started to realize that at 49 my brain is not what it was a decade ago. My memory, concentration, word-finding ability, processing time, and clarity of thought are all noticeably reduced. I did some research and after trying a number of things, I found that the combination of ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid) and ALCAR (Acetyl L-Carnitine) are some of the few supplements that actually cross the blood brain barrier. These compounds help with many brain functions including: improve memory, brain energy, and balancing mood. A few days after taking this I noticed a big difference in all brain functions that I have seen decline in. This is truly a great product.NOTE: You should also know that the CoQ10 in here will boost the immune system a bit. If you take immune suppressant drugs for disease management (e.g. methotrexate, Humira, Enbrel) or cancer treatments then you should consider purchasing the ALA and ALCAR separately to avoid the CoQ10. I take methotrexate for RA so I had to switch to buying the compounds separately.
