I love my snails!
My snails arrived yesterday. Unfortunately hurricane Dorian caused a delay with them arriving but they got here alive & well! I appreciate that the seller sends 1 extra just Incase 1 doesn’t make it. They are the cutest little snails & I will be buying more in the future from seven sea supply. Thank you so much!

Just say NO to IMPORTED WILD CAUGHT SNAILS!!
In my paper work that I received with these snails it states that rabbit snails are wild caught!!!!! In nature this species naturally occurs in Sulawesi and imported Into the the US sometimes without the poor buyer knowing that it is coming from outof the country and not a State side breeder from the US! In my opinion, wild caught imported snails are more likely to carry worms, parasites and diseases that can be potentially deadly to humans! If you accidentally buy imported snails, use rubber gloves, when handling them, or, any water where they have been ! Wash your hands thoroughly, immediately afterwards! Treat snail water as a potential biohazard and dispose of it safely! Quarantine, new snails in a separate quarantine tank, until you are sure that the snails are healthy, before, releasing them, into ,your, main tanks! Do not poor your snail water into ponds or creeks, rivers or lakes! Disinfect your fish nets before dipping them into other tanks! Do not release snails into the natural enviroment! Just my opinion- Now that I have educated myself to know a bit more about snail diseases, I, now believe that laws should be made to prevent the importation into the United Statesof wild caught snails, from tropical areas, where, they are known to haveSchistosomiasis, a. parasitic disease that can sometimes cause death in humans! These snails are muchbigger and much uglierthan I thought theywould be! They havelong dark spiraling shellsthat taper to a point in thefar back. When lying on the bottomof your aquarium, these Rabbit snails make your tank look like a dog dumped a load of dark chocolate, "doggie logs", on the floor of your substrate ! Gross! If you like the comparatively high active level of mystery snails you will be very disappointed with these Rabbit Snails. Mine often stay in there shells for two days and barely move when they do come out for a few minutes. It seems to me that their shells seemtoo heavy and long for their strength levels and it is a real struggle for them to move more than a few inches. I hope they did not arrive sick withsome type of exotic tropical disease.I must confess, that I am a bit worried. This species of snail seems to be ultra cautious and nervous. I have at leastOne Rabbit snail, who suddenly jerks back into it's shell if it so much as butts into a strand of Java Moss! My cherry shrimp seem to be doing fine so I don't believe there is anything wrong with my water parameters and these Rabbit Snails were very sluggish from the beginning even by snail standards.Up date- The Rabbit snails never really seemed to recover from their journeyThey are all dead now.I don't like or recommend Rabbit Snails!I regret buying these snails but I madean impulsive bad buy! My bad! We live, make mistakes, and hopefully learn from them!

The snails are healthy but...
Don't expect to receive what the description read, I've orders two separate times and both times they were golden rabbit snails, not yellow like the picture shows or orange like the description says. There snails can't healthy and parasite free so there's no worries there.

Arrived so well packaged and happy that they were starting to to move around before I could even get them unpacked and in a tank. Five arrived, all healthy, beautiful critters. Love 'em. Zooming around tank scarfing algae within 2 minutes.

dead snails on arrival already decomposed
only one snail out of 5 was (barely )alive on arrival and died within 24 hours . tow of them were decomposed with an offensive smell.I reported the issue to the company who asked for a picture of the snails BEFORE acclimation as well as all packaging Upon sending the picture showing dead and decomposed snails , i received a request to send another one taken at a better angle . this was 24 hours after i had thrown away the unsanitary decomposed corpses. of course no refund obtained or new batch sent .I highly recommend to avoid purchasing from this company,.

Probably wont buy fish or snails on amazon again.
3 arrived alive. 1 died shortly after. Seems amazon fish/snail companies need to get their shipping down a little better. Only 1 is very lively the other is very recluse.
