Kept my hair going all day.
Great hair fiber. Has great hold and keeps your hair style pretty much the same throughout the day. It has no scent and does not leave the hair feeling greasy at all. The only sort of knock that I found was that it takes a little extra effort to wash off but it’s not difficult. One of the best hair products I’ve used.

For shorter hair.
Our youngest needed some style! Because even though he still thinks kissing is gross he is starting to notice girls. Lol! Anywho took him to my salon (a very expensive, very good - worth every penny salon!) and had his haircut updated from Dad's mandatory until you're ready to do your hair in the morning crew cut that all his brothers before him had too. We went for an undercut style that leaves him with a lot of styling choices. My stylist introduced me to this product, and showed me how to use a small amount on his hair to style it. (Lots of YouTube videos should you need them) We LOVE it! I style his hair after his shower with AC Fiber at night while blow drying, and we just touch it up in the a.m. (Less than 5 minutes). His style holds all day. Not perfectly masked down in a single spot, but textured, full, and shaped up. His hair looks great all day. Love the matte shine! Shiny on a kid can look like dirty greasy hair half way through the morning. My oldest boys use products like this, but I had no idea until we went to the salon. It's worth mentioning that All of my boys have a wicked cow lick right at the back of the crown, and this is the FIRST product they have been able to use that keeps it laid down without looking wet, cemented, or glued down! Absolutely we DO recommend this product! AND YouTube videos if you have never used it before! Hope our review was helpful! P.s. If you want a stiffer results use on dry hair, & when you truly don't want it to move at all follow up with hairspray ;)

r/malehairadvice's favorite hair product
I was searching for a low-shine medium to high hold hair product for my Asian hair. I looked on Reddit's subreddit, malefashionadvice and malehairadvice, and American Crew Fiber was highly recommended by users to be one of the best hair product for men. It was slightly more expensive than its competition, but I bought it due to the praise it's gotten. My hair was roughly 7.5 inches on the top, and I was going for the top knot (I'm wasn't a douche, just experimenting with my hair). A top knot is essentially a man bun but with the sides and back shaved off. The hair on top would then be pulled back on held together with a hair band. Anyways, the product worked great; it provided a good hold for the majority of the day. Sometimes, strands of hair would fall out of the knot, but that was due to my hard Asian hair. Comparing it to other popular products like, Gatsby Pink or Suavecito, American Crew Fiber really stands out with low-shine and medium hold for medium-long hair. However, American Crew Fiber does not seem to work well with shorter hair (1-2 in), at least with mine. I've tried it with my fohawk cut and my hair just wouldn't hold. Perhaps it may be used with softer hair, but for my hair, I was better off using products like Gatsby moving rubber. For applying the product into the hair, I recommend applying it on damp hair, preferably after a washing it. The smell is decent, a bit citric if anything, it turns into a weird odor after a couple days if not washed out, so WASH IT. Overall, I would recommend it to those with soft or longer hair. Those with short, thick hair (like me) look elsewhere.

Love this
We love this texture pomade. It creates a natural look in the hair but still keeping a firm hold. It looks great and keep the hair soft.

Great for natural looking hair; not-so-great for molded styles.
I'd like to preface this by saying that everyone's hair is different, and therefore reacts differently to different styling products. Also, I am still in the process of finding the best way to use this product for my hair (amount, dry vs damp vs wet, hair length, etc.) I've heard great things about this product, and therefore I was very excited to give it a try. The price was honestly the main selling point for me; I felt that it was very low risk to try it when it was available for only $9, as I've seen it listed upwards of $19 in drugstores and department stores. To summarize, here's what I liked and disliked about the product; PROS: 1. Smell: I normally don't pay much attention to the smell of hair styling products, but this one is something else. I thoroughly enjoy its clean, lemony scent. It's by no means overpowering, but leaves your hair with a fresh, subtle smell. 2. Easy Applicability: The first time I styled my hair with American Crew Fiber, I used a dime-sized amount. I think that in the future, I may use a bit more, as it didn't deliver the results I expected. That being said, it's incredibly easy to spread through your hair from root to tip. 3. Hair Texture: Unlike other products, American Crew Fiber did not leave my hair feeling hard. Rather, my hair remains soft and pliable; I can run my hands through my hair to re-position or restyle it 4. Natural Finish: The product description says "low shine", but I would personally argue it's a matte finish. I really didn't get much of any shine out of this product, which is to my personal liking. In all honesty, American Crew Fiber gives the impression that I have nothing in my hair, and I just wake up with great-looking hair. I would definitely recommend America Crew Fiber if you're going for a more natural looking hairstyle, but not if you'd like your hair to have a wet or slick appearance to it. CONS: 1. Hold: The only real issue I had with this product was it's hold, or lack thereof. It's described as having high hold, but this simply isn't the case. I would describe it as having a medium hold; it retains itself when you are sedentary, but you will lose basic shape when you're up and moving. Also, I've heard people say that your hair will have a flat and dull look to it if you wear this in sunny, high temperatures. I can neither confirm nor deny this as it is currently winter, but something to consider.
