So far, so good!
First off, this is a great deal! I happened to read a previous review that pointed out that these are not actual Sony BRAND, but it doesn't really matter too much to me. Just thought i would point it out to others. You do get a lot for your money!I just bought the Sony HDR-CX220/B and the reviews for that video camera show the battery that comes with it only lasts UP TO 45 minutes. So i purchased this package the same day i ordered my camera. My order information said that i could expect to receive this in the mail between June 5th and June 10th. It was on my door step Monday, June 3rd. Very fast shipping!Theses batteries are larger than the original one that the camera comes with. But the camera is SOOOO small, so i don't mind the battery adding a little extra size to the camera. I just got done charging the first battery for the first time out of the box and it took less than 2 hours until the green light came on, on the wall charger. My camera has a built in USB adapter for charging the battery. I have't used it yet. Heck i haven't used the camera yet. I really won't get much use of it until i propose June 15th and i don't want my girlfriend to know i have the camera before then. I like that i can even charge my original battery in this wall mount! It even comes with a car charger cable and a European converter for traveling.I'll update this post later with how well the batteries work.UPDATE: 8-29-13I really only used and charged 1 battery so far and left the other in my camera bag pocket. I decided to finally use the 2nd battery and it was still fully charged from when i first charged it on the day it arrived. It really hasn't been that long... lol but it was still charged and held its charge for the entire evening. The batteries do seem to fit the camera a little loose, but nothing that i would say is a problem. Great product so far!

Nearly 3 years later & they still work fine...
Update May 2017:I'm still using these batteries, although not nearly as much as before. They still have a long life, but a bit less than originally. For the price I paid ($35) definitely worth it!Original review:I purchased this in January of 2013 after buying a Sony camcorder (HDR-CX190). The battery that came with the camcorder didn't have enough time on it for my purposes, so I needed these batteries with extended time. It's been nearly 3 years now, and the batteries and charger still work fine. I use them in my camcorder primarily to film soccer games, usually 2-3 times per month, plus some occasional filming of family or nature scenes in between. When the batteries are fully charged, they show a bit more than 4 hours of available time. I use the zoom feature a lot while filming games so the battery gets used up more quickly. After filming a 90 minute game (with plenty of zooming in & out), the battery shows about 1 hour remaining. When using them for occasional other filming, the batteries last much longer. The charger works fine as well. I've never really paid attention to how long it takes to charge one battery because I have the second battery as back up. I usually charge the batteries at night and they are fully charged by morning (probably much sooner than that, but I haven't checked).

Great camera--very complicated setup
I am pretty savvy regarding computer stuff, but I'll be darned if I could figure out how to upload my test videos to the Sony Play Memories program. It turned out to be pretty simple, but I spent an hour online with the Sony help people trying to get it set up. The good news is: Sony has excellent customer support! The bad news is that you have to wander all over the place to find a live chat, and then turn it into an actual telephone call with an actual person. Once I got hooked up with a customer service rep, it was great, but getting there was NOT half the fun. The problem was that for some reason my computer didn't support one of their video formats (TS-something). But the customer service rep, once I actually got to TALK to someone, was very helpful and now I'm all set for my vacation in a few weeks.

Great Bang for the Buck!
At the time of this writing, the official Sony NP-FV70 battery pack is $89.99. Yes, you read that right. For less than half the price, you get two of those (although they're not official Sony batteries), a battery wall charger (with a 5 year warranty, euro adapter, and car DC adapter), a microfiber cloth (to wipe off your camcorder's touch screen), and screen protectors.Wow. I'd have to say this is probably the best deal you can find on the internet for this much. I use these with a Sony HDR-CX260V; although these batteries aren't "official," they work perfectly with this model. One of these battery packs gives me about 6 hours of running time on the FX setting (the second highest quality). I honestly think I'll run out of room on my memory card before the battery dies! The wall charger is very compact, leaving you with plenty of room in your camera bag, and if you need to charge your batteries on the go there's always the DC car adapter cable. I don't have much need for the screen protectors (I don't like the way they feel on the fingers), but I can probably use them for some other device. You can also never have too many microfiber cloths for wiping off your electronics. All in all, this is a tremendous deal. It's well worth the money. Also, Amazon shipped this in record time: a day earlier than it said initially!

Perfect fit form my Sony Handycam
I lost my original charger for my Sony Handycam, so I ordered this kit to replace it. It includes two long lasting batteries, so I figured it was worth the price. The charger is quick, and the batteries fit perfectly. The camera recognizes the batteries without a problem. I shall see how the batteries hold up over the following months, but so far I'm very pleased.
