Dorman 917-125 Crankcase Ventilation Tube Compatible with Select BMW Models

Part is not same size as original. Looks like it's longer than it should be and also wires are shorter than the original. Part installed and I hope so it's working and the wires are not gonna rip.If you need this part, I would recommend to buy, but it's difficult to install because in the car it's not a lot of space for maneuvering. I was struggling also,but did it.

I installed it yesterday it was a bit tricky getting the old one off but once off installation was a snap…literally. Seem to be working fine as of now.

The vent pipe fit perfectly in place. The wiring for the heater was way too short and could not be connected. I don’t live in an area where I have to worry about it getting so cold that the moisture in the crankcase system freezes and blocks flow, so I just left it disconnected. No faults stored, so clearly it isn’t monitored.

2006 BMW 325! This part works but the cable is too short. It was better to just splice the old cable than fighting to make this fit. No error codes. If you plan to remove the manifold to replace your starter, then you better order this part in advance. This is really a good price. You have about 99% chance of breaking the old tube.

I bought two of these as a just in case and let me say this I didnt need to buy two because the material on it is A plus no lie so if you need one buy it and oh as some comments mentioned it is a little short on the electrical cord but I managed to get it right the first go around I even unplugged it and put it back on with no problems.
