Purchased this product to help with crafts and the like. The idea was to be able to have very portable clamp which can be moved around (task to task yet be small) and clamp items together which requires curing time for glue or even just to hold a couple small items together in a specific position.It works for some things so not all is lost.What we discovered:- The product is cheaply made and not well assembled- Wing nut does not spin smoothly up the threads (cheap nut/bolt)- Clamping faces do not meet completely 'flat' to begin with (kinda ruins the intended use)- Clamping force is quite low- Appears to be hand painted with nail polish- Binds at hingeOtherwise works for us for popsicle stick gluing in certain situations and holds small objects I don't want to roll off work table.

Not sure. The red frame is good, but the wing nut broke. I over tightened so it's not really the wing nut. The problem is the surface is not flat inside the vice. You'll need to file or grind it if you are serious.

No stars!! Complete junk! They should pay me for having to grind down the jaws, so the close even. Seriously, junk.

Something every shop should have, saved my fingers more than once. Saves wear in visegrip ir pliers and more secure. Well worth the money
