Armitron Men's Genuine Crystal Accented Stainless Steel Watch

Wow! This ring looks like something out of an expensive jewelry store. It’s stunning! Links are easy to remove. It’s a solid watch and it’s absolutely gorgeous!

I am a watch enthusiast, meaning I obtain watches every chance I can, This Armitron 204507DBSV is "stunning" to say the least. Elegant & simple makes this an absolute must have for any guy that is looking for a watch to dress up or dress down. This watch could be worn with any "ensom" from black tie, to the office or as an everyday wearer. I am very pleased with the time piece I received, it looks even more awesome than the advertisement pic that I purchased watch from. Armitron has made available, time pieces that are much more valuable than the price that it charges to own them. I have 4 other Armitron time pieces, most are vintage pieces, & all are still operating as well as the day they were made, at least mine are, as I take real pride in keeping my time pieces in great condition. I have several watches from brands like Bulova, carevelle by Bulova, Citizen,Seiko.Invicta ,Gruen, Waltham, Fossil as well as a few":designer" watches. This one will soon be among my favorites. Thank you Amazon for your ability to sell name brand products at such FANTASTIC pricing.

Many compliments on this watch for its modest price. The real crystal face and Japanese movement provides a unscratched view and accurate time. It is my everyday watch that works well and it wouldn't break the bank if I damaged it at work.

Today is my first day wearing the watch, and I can't stop looking at it. I have had it for a couple of weeks, but just got around to resizing it last night by removing three of the links, so I was anxious to get a chance to wear it to work. My wife and I both feel this watch looks extremely classy and expensive -- far, far beyond what you'd expect for the reasonable price. With today's trend of HUGE watch faces, this model may be larger than most of my older watches, but it still seems to be proportionate to my wrist rather than overwhelming. Very, very nice -- and dressy-looking -- watch.

Nice solid watch. Attractive and is the right proportion for my smaller wrist (most men's watches are way too big and I'm 6 ft tall). That said, there are a few concerns. The packaging was nice but the instructions were printed on extremely small type. There is a special place for people that print user instructions that are lower than 6 point. Even with a magnifying glass I had trouble reading it. Additionally the instructions for removing links in the wrist band had a title that said "ladies watches" and didn't seem to have instructions for this one. I had to go on the internet to confirm how to remove links. The rest of the instructions for setting the watch were fine, but really, come-on now. The type used is not for human eyes. Most people will need magnification to read it. The link removal process to adjust the band was straight forward, but not convenient. This is the only way to tighten the band. There is a pin that runs through each link. You have to take a very small nail and drive the pin out (in the direction of an arrow stamped on the link). I used a small hammer and a finishing nail, which was still a bit too large to push the pin very far, but I was just barely able to push the pin through to grab it with a pair of needle nose pliers and pull it through. Bracing the band to allow the pin to go out the other side of the link was not easy. Plus, you have to remember how it came out, so you put it back in the reverse direction. I happened to just have enough tools at the house. Taking out 3 links took about 15 minutes, but I bet it would take a lot longer for people not inclined for this delicate and small procedure. Recommend taking it to a jeweler if you are easily frustrated.

The watch needed to be fitted but I am sure that is normal. I got the blue fade to black one. This watch looks so nice. I would get this before they are out. I'm not sure how the water proof is, but I don't plan on risking it. I LIKE THIS WATCH TOO MUCH. Very happy with this purchase.

Honestly, there have been so many different watch companies that have tried to innovate over the years, and have either fell flat or made brilliant strides that have had a hard core audience coming back for more. But nevertheless, there are some brands that have made contemporary strides, but received little to no recognition. In regards to Armitron, they have been a contemporary brand in price and simplicity over the years. But they are also a brand to easily get into if you want a simple watch, for any time you need a quick purchase. I have used some of Armitron's watches over the years, and they have worked well in price, and simple style. This silver-tone oblong men's watch from Armitron is sophisticated and easily to get into. It has a simple quartz movement, and simple water resistance for anyone whom just washes their hands everyday. The crystal accents do add a bit of class into the face, with a simple blue & black face. While I do wish the hands could be a little bigger on the timepiece, it still is a watch worth getting for anyone that is looking for a simple and classy watch. I like this one for the value.
