As advertised
Works great, I have a bigger boat, and this works great to keep the cabin area arid during the winter.

Quiet and low energy consumption
I used to buy another product which needed replacing every two years as the internal fan would die. This has no fan and so no nose. Works great by using ceramic heat to dry the air.

it's big
It's hard to overstate how surprisingly large this unit is. If you're thinking of buying it for a small-ish (<30 ft) boat, get the smaller 60 watt size. This would be overkill. I bought it for a 26 ft cruiser and it's hard to find a suitable place for it that's large enough.

Great dehumidifier even when basement measures low temperatures
I know this is meant for marine use. But, it is the best solution I have found for a damp basement. Plus a reasonable price (compared to other dehumidifiers) I have had a problem using dehumidifiers in my cold basement. This does not require the basement to be above a specific temp. I have a small basement and will probably run 2 of these next year. Check the sq. Footage it says it will cover. Overall, very pleased.

With all this rain, my boat is dry and warm.
My 38 foot motor yacht is located in the San Francisco Bay Area. These recent rains made me decide to invest in this device. I have to say, my boat is dry and warm. I purchased 2 and they are definitely doing the job.

Worked as advertised and as I expected. I had had one in my trailer previously that remained on 24/7 over our moist West Coast winter and it was always fresh and mould free when I opened it up in the Spring. It sold with the trailer. This recent purchase is turned on in a small den about the advertised cubic feet and I store a have dozen vintage guitars in it and the measured humidity level in this room is now ideal. Terry

Doesn't throw off much heat, no on and off switch so have to make sure you unplug it when not in use to prevent fires.
