Nausicaa / Naisicaa (Ghibli) 1/20 Scale Plastic Model Kit: Ohm with Nausicaa

I’m a huge fan of Nausicaä, this was one of the best things I’ve bought for myself. If you are worried it may be hard to assemble don’t stress im someone who has little patience and bad solve-problem skills and this was one of the easiest things I could assemble! It turned out great you should buy it if you are considering it.

This was really great! A fun model, even though I have no real practice on doing them. It has a great design... Make sure to closely and slowly follow the labeled coding for each face tentacle, I accidentally got too excited, and took the tentacles all off the frame, thinking they were all the same, and once I did that, I couldn’t ever figure out how to get them to all fit in well together, because they were all in whatever spot I just guessed.A little bit of super glue so the legs don’t fall out, red or blue paint behind the eyes, and some black texture for shadow, and it’s beautiful!I didn’t do Nausicaa, or the squirrel Fox, or put the bolt injuries in it, But the detail on those is fantastic too.

Fantastic kit. The Ohm is very detailed and looks gorgeous after being painted. Unlike some of Bandai's other models, this one must be painted to look good - the only provided decals are for Nausicaa's eyes. The Ohm's eyes come in clear plastic so you can paint them blue or red as to your liking - I couldn't figure out how they managed the fantastic looking eyes on the box, and had to settle for a slightly translucent milky-blue, but it still looks good.And if you're wondering - yes, all of those individual legs are separate pieces.

So first of all, this is more like a standard model building kit. Not an easy snap together model. Second, not painted like it says. The plastic is colored but just one solid color. And third, all the pieces are linked together in groups .

This is a great model. The tolerance on the parts is low so the kit fits together well. The Ohm body is in three parts and assembles somewhat like an airplane. The only grievance I have is the design of the eyes. They have pins for easy assembly that show through the clear plastic. Otherwise the model looks great. The image has some work and modifications.

A great model! Everything fits well and it's lovely quality. I was intimidated at first about making the ohmu, but it wasn't that bad.

Great model kit! Scale is 1/20 and it has 96 parts to total. (Yes, each leg on the ohm is an individual piece.) The kit snaps together snuggly and was very easy to glue and assemble despite all of the parts. No extra filler was needed to cover up the seams. I have always loved this Miyazaki movie and was pleased to find a model based on it at a reasonable price. I would recommend this kit to intermediate modelers due to all of the pieces and patience needed to build.

Bigger than expected, the model comes in pieces and in green and is easy to assemble/glue. Very happy recipient who cannot decide whether to colour the eyes blue or red!

Podrían avisad que va desmontado y sin pintar, se compró para un regalo y casi no da tiempo a entregarlo porque hubo que montarlo y pintarlo. Por lo demás está bien.

簡単に組めるし、ディテールも精巧です。ただし、スキマがガンプラ等に比べて大きかったです。結構大きい所はラッカーパテで埋めました。目は無色透明です。自分はクリアレッドで塗りました。
