Grey Color Bronte BT01 150 Lumen CREE XP-G2 LED Mini Keychain Flashlight with reversible clip, Powered by 1AAA battery, IPX-8 Waterproof, 4 Modes from Firefly to Strobe

I bought the 3 closest competitors (ThruNite Ti3, Olight 3E Copper, Olight 3S Brass) and this one just as good, durable, and is the second smallest of the 4. The only one smaller is the Olight 3E, and only by a hair or two, but that one only has one light setting...super bright. I prefer the Bronte BT01 over that one because for everyday use you don't want to be blinded by the high intensity beam when you are just looking at the back of your TV or computer for a serial number. The Bronte has 4 settings: Medium about 30-40 lumens, high about 120 but supposedly 150 with the right battery, but it's also the easiest to put on the strobe feature from any setting and the low/firefly mode is about 3-4 lumens from what I can tell. The other lights may have a strobe feature but it's pretty useless because it's too hard to get to it. This one can be accessed from any intensity buy twisting the head twice quickly. This allows you to use it as a personal defense light because it will temporarily blind and disorient a person just enough to buy you time. If it's important to maintain you night vision, make sure you cover the lens until you access the low firefly mode. If you want a flashlight that starts at the very low firefly mode first then the ThruNite Ti3 is for you.The only Con I've read about or seen on Youtube is that the slot for the keychain is a little sharp. I felt it, but in reality it hasn't been an issue at all. The Olights come with a battery but the Thrunite and this one doesn't. But I bought higher quality AAA Nimh rechargeable batteries anyways because that with these tiny lights it doubles their run time and gives you a huge boost in lumens over regular alkalines anyways For the price, the quality, features and customer service these are the best value so far. II will give it 5 stars for now but will update if the durability isn't there.***6 Month Update***I just left it in my pants pocket for the 2nd time and accidentally put it through it's second full cycle in the washer and dryer. So it definitely is waterproof and heat resistant. I find myself having it in my pocket more often than the other flashlights just because I like the mid mode to start out with for the things I normally use it for on a daily basis.

I was blown away by how powerful this small torch is. I wish the black color was available but it wasnt :(Also i wished they had a spare LED bulb but they dont provide this. But it comes in a small beautiful metal box and it is powerful like hell using only one AAA battery!Highly recommended if you wanted a keychain light.UPDATE : after 6 month of usage the light sometimes didn't work after you twist the lower part and after that by a month it died! the battery is working but the light doesn't work anymore :(

Downgrading to 1 star. If you're contemplating this light, go buy the ThruNite Ti3. FAR BETTER.Flashlight received has absolutely no discernible difference between MID > HI modes (See pictures) Seller told me its my problem and just use it... Well that's not why I bought one with different brightness levels.Thrunite Ti3 also has a nicer cooler color LED which I preferDont. Buy. This.

Great light, great value, but being longer and heavier it's not as good as the Olight® I3E. After much comparison and deliberation I've concluded that I prefer the Philips LUXEON TX LED they use in the Olight I3E to the CREE XP-G2 LED used in the Bronte BT01 as well. The LUXEON TX throws a slightly broader beam, making it more practical up close where it's likely to see the most use. The CREE XP-G2--as employed by the Bronte BT01--is a bit more of a spotlight, not as practical for the sub-15' range that I'll mostly be using it for. Subjectively I didn't find the 150 lumen output of this model to be any brighter than the 120 lumens claimed by the silver Olight I3E, probably due to the deeper reflector of the BT01 focusing the beam more tightly for a longer, narrower throw compared to the Olight.The multiple functions of the Bronte BT01 are fine--I don't need them but they don't bother me. This light is basically a copy of the ThruNite Ti3, for less money. Bronte seems to be serious about providing prompt customer support, which is always encouraging. This light doesn't come with a battery, but it does come in an attractive metal box with a reversible pocket clip (which PERFECTLY fits the Olight I3E, btw, not that either light needs a pocket clip), keychain and 2 spare o-rings. They were even kind enough to provide a page of badly translated English instructions!The Bronte BT01 is a solid, rugged little light, and if the Olight I3E didn't exist, this would likely inherit its place at the top of the podium for EDC pocket lights.

I wanted a small EDC light to keep with me at all times. Being on a budget, I spent time looking until this one caught my eye. I use it every day at work to find things in our unlit storage shed. It is still on the first AAA battery I put in it when i bought it 2 months ago. It is bright enough to light up my entire back yard. I carry it in one of the outside loop pockets on my Leatherman AL Sheath. I keep a fisher bullet space pen in the other. Cant go wrong with this combo. ( I bought the leatherman and space pen here on amazon. Two other necessary tools that I never leave my home without,)

Loved this flashlight. Used this over my iPhone light to look for things. But it stopped working after 6 months of using it. Tried 5 different batteries to see if it that was the problem but just doesn't want to turn on anymore. Wish I could return it for a new one.

Love this little light! Small enough for your key ring with lots of light to get you around in the dark. The reversable clip is nice too, put it on the rim of your hat and you got two hands free for what ever task may come up.
