I originally purchased to cut and connect to standard LED strips in my garage. I had since bought Philips Hue for in the house and bought the strip for under-cabinet lighting control from my idevices. The extra cable came in handy and works perfectly to solder my Hue strip back together. I cut the Hue to light 2 cabinet sections on either side of my microwave and used this extension across the bottom of the microwave to reconnect. Perfect and I was up in running in less than 15 minutes.

Works well with the vise grip wire stripper. I had no continuity problems with this wire. The wire colors were Black-Green-Red-Blue so for my LED lights I had to wire green to red and red to green but it wasn't a problem it just prevents the rating from being 5 stars.It was very easy to solder this wire to SMD5050 led light strips. Step 1. Cut the led strip at the appropriate area. Step 2. Expose the contacts on the Light strip. Step 3. Tin the contacts using solder. Step 4. Cut and strip the ends of this product. Step 5. Pull the individual wires apart around 1-2cm Step 6. Tin the individual wires with solder 7. Melt the solder on the light strip contact points one at a time and push the wire into the molten mass. Step 8. let cool and check that the connection is sturdy. Step 9. Finish other connections and make sure the soldering is clean. Step 10. Heatshrink around the exposed areas to protect.I've never soldier before but with the top rated products on Amazon I was able to create very nice cabinet lighting for much less than buying an already created solution.

This is 10 meters of 4 22 AWG stranded aluminum wires formed together in black, green, red, and blue (in that order, some products swap the green and red positioning, be careful of that)Its wire, it conducts electricity, what more do you want.Insulation seems pretty durable, wires aren't misleadingly thin, they peel apart nicely but also hold together as you would expect them to.Good stuff, highly recommended if you're doing anything with LED strips in length. It saves a lot of time and it won't break the bank.

Wires. They're sorta stiff. They're multi-stranded so stripping the wire is kind of difficult to not cut some of the small strands.

This cable was just right to use. The color code lined up perfect for the 3528 Led Strip Lights. I had just enough cable by the time I wrapped my drums with the lights. Easy to work with. Product is as advertised, is satisfactory and shipped from Guangdong, China in timely manner.It is hard to find in local stores.I would not hesitate to order again if I require more of this product.

Used this to extend the length of the outlet for my LED strips. I was able to solder these very easily and splicing them was not hard. I did not notice any decrease in power or brightness even though i extended the length. Overall I was very pleased with this and recommend this to anyone looking to extend LED strips. Fast shipping. No issues. Make sure to figure out if you need the color LED wire or the regular one color LED wire.

Is as described. Fast delivery. It's a shame that the strip lights didn't arrive at all LOL kind of leaves this wire useless
