I use GoPro for my quadcopters but my wife had bought me a 1 hour, open cockpit, aerobatic fun ride and I wanted to record the fun. The company that was going to provide the ride said they didn't have any GoPro mounts on the plane so I'd have to figure that out for myself. I went to Amazon and looked. I had a GoPro version of this product in my cart at first but then saw the CamKix offer and was attracted to the fact that they included both a hat clip mount and a backpack strap mount for the GoPro in addition to the head mount. I had never heard of CamKix but always willing to go 3rd party. I received the item quickly and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of all the mounts. I was conflcted on which to use so I brought all of them to the flight. I ended up using the headstrap mount under their soft helmet/radio gear. It worked perfectly, no problems with adjustment or the wind and g-forces during the flight on the mount. No issues with the strap, the buckles, adjustment method, etc. The headstraps do have rubber webbing in them so the adjustment buckles stay where you leave them. I am very impressed with the price and quality of this purchase. I expect to buy more CamKix items in the future.

I bought this set for a trip to Patagonia where I did extensive backcountry horsepacking and trekking. I experimented with the head mount worn over my riding helmet and the backpack clip in a couple different scenarios. For the price of the set, I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality. Everything felt sturdy and stable and fit as-described. The head mount fit over my helmet and gripped securely through extremely strong wind, rain, and errant branches brushing by at a gallop! I played around with clipping the backpack mount on the front of my backpack strap, the top of my knee-high riding boots, and even on the front of my saddle. It gripped securely without slipping and I found it easy to unclip, hold in my hand for some panning footage, then clip it back again. Very pleased with this purchase!

Used for skiing and kept the camera stable.

I'm a huge fan of CamKix products. I bought the extendable stick for the GoPro before this product, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It works great.I also enjoyed the current product, with one exception - the Backpack mount clip spring broke easily 3 days into using it. I was pretty disappointed with that. I hope it's just this specific product and not all of them.EDIT: I have updated my review from 3 to 5 stars.After reading my review, a rep from the company contacted me and inquired about the broken part. She then kindly offered to replace it free of charge. Either way, I am still a fan of this company's products. As I mentioned earlier, I previously bought the extendable GoPro stick and was very satisfied with the product at it's price point.I will definitely continue to be a customer.

Be careful with your camera and these products. Haven't tried anything except for the clip mount and that thing is a struggle to open. Remember helpful tips put the clip on the backpack or object you want to clip it to first then put in your camera and screw it down. I didn't and clip popped and or slipped out of my hand when putting it on my bag and scrapped up not just the clip but also my housing cage and part of the lens cap ring on my dji osmo action. Haven't used the other two products but based off the weight of the osmo action I don't know if I want to have it strapped to my head and the hat clip may be useful but I don't bear baseball caps often. Hope you have better luck then I did.

Love theses. I got them for our last vacation. They were a lot more easy to use that the head straps I had before. I was a lot more comfortable using a baseball hat. The backpack clip I used on my travel purse and even my wetcase for my phone Perfect! We did a lot of group tours and this got a lot of respect from the other people. We did caving. Jets boats, and just walking and hiking around. Good investment

This kit for a sports camera is awesome.Quality is excellent, fits nice with any gopro type of camera. It has a gripping material inside the strap that grips your head.You can feel any weight of the camera on your forehead. The clip is made with a sturdy plastic, it has a strong spring so it grips tight. Can’t beat the price.I recommend this product 100%.I received it in 24 hrs.

This was a great set to go with my GoPro. It came with 3 different options. I would have given it a 5 star but the hat attachment didn't work. It was too tight to fit in the groves of the GoPro. But the other 3 were perfect.
