Maybe I'm the only one, but I end up buying random impractical things online when I should be asleep. In this case, I'm glad I did! At 2am this gold spinning paperweight looked incredible online. In the morning I was really questioning my judgment but thought I'd at least see what it looked like when it arrived. By the time it arrived I had completely forgotten about ordering it and image my suprise when I ripped open a package and this hunk of gold metal came out. I was so impressed! It's like that relative who always gave you terrible or unusable gifts but that one time they found you the coolest thing... that's this paperweight! It's actually made of metal and it's a solid weight. It's about the same size as the lacrosse ball, smaller than a tennis ball. It was a bit smaller than it looked online but everything else exceeded expectations. It spins so beautifully and smooth. The line design is mesmerizing. Spin one way and it looks like the lines are moving up. Spin it the other way and they go down. It's also quiet with a whoosh sound when it spins. It's heavy enough to use as an actual paperweight if needed but it's a great classy spinning sphere. I use it all the time when stuck on conference calls. I find it very soothing and relaxing. It's visually beautiful, it makes a calm white noise and allows you to physically spin it giving your hands something to do. It's just what this poor quarantined office worker needed. The perfect item I had no idea I wanted. I'm considering purchasing more for gifts. It's lovely and worth every penny. Just buy it!

If you're anything like me, and frequently work from home, with a lot of video meetings, you find it hard to focus and keep from fidgeting. I was looking for a sturdy, quiet, discrete desk gadget that could keep me occupied and help me concentrate on my meetings. This sphere absolutely fits the bill. It's well-made, heavy, and nearly silent even when spinning at full speed. It's attractive, and frankly, mesmerizing. Would highly recommend it, and am thinking of buying a second one for the office.

I have always liked fidgety things like this spinner, and I was excited to have the opportunity to mess with this one. It’s a neat toy and I do like it, but mine could use a bit of fit and finish improvement. I am hopeful that this is a case of just getting a bad sample.To look at, this is an attractive and aesthetically pleasing toy, about the size of an avocado pit. There are three colors from which to choose and the one I have is the gold. When spinning it is somewhat mesmerizing and it is relaxing to watch.However, it makes a very faint squeaking noise reminiscent of needing a little oil or something in the bearings. At slower speeds it is not so noticeable, but when spun fast it is definitely not silent and it slows down a little more quickly than one would expect. I am not sure if it actually needs a drop of light lubricating oil or if it has some debris from the manufacturing process in the bearings. Either way, it is a disappointment as it takes away from an otherwise fun desk toy.This is an interesting desk toy and it is relaxing to watch and fun to play with. Mine isn’t quite perfect and it makes noise when it is spinning; hopefully it’s just a case of a bad unit.

In my opinion, it is essentially a variation or combination of a fidget spinner and a child’s top.This is very easy to spin and it spins with ease. It is very mesmerizing to watch, though it doesn’t spin for a whole long time. I would guess somewhere in the neighborhood of between one and two minutes. But it helps me pass the time when I’m on the phone at work, and keeps me busy.This is not too heavy but works on my desk as a paper eight and keeps papers from flying away.At the end of the day, this is a nice, simple, sophisticated looking desk toy.

It’s pretty classy looking too being gold and all.It’s super heavy and well made & would make a good gift for someone who just got that promotion they wanted that comes with the “corner office”. 😉It comes in a nice striped pouch too so its a nice presentation.I like it very much but as I said, I am a fidget-er so others may get bored with it. I spin it when I am on the phone with clients, especially the boring clients.I hope my humble opinion and video has helped you in some way.Thank you for reading.
