My husband's sister recommended this hair mask to me. She dyes her hair red, while my natural hair color is light brown or dark blonde. I don't dye my hair, and it's straight and long. I've been using this product for a year and a half, and the jar still isn’t empty!Sometimes I apply a bit more than usual, but it can be hard to wash out. Other times, I leave it on for just half a minute because I don’t want to wait, but the results are still the same—my hair is easy to comb, soft, not dry, and feels so nice to the touch.One time, I applied too much to the roots and couldn’t wash it out completely, so my hair felt a bit greasy. But after the next wash, everything was back to normal. I wash my hair twice a week, and even after using a hair dryer, I’m happy with how healthy it looks and feels.However, a couple of times I forgot to use the mask, and my hair felt stiff afterward. I ended up braiding it so it wouldn’t get tangled.

I put this in my hair and mind you, the feel was great, and it instantly softens the hair, but my GOD I put my hair up and got a tingling sensation that felt like tiger balm on my head and it was getting SO BAD, I was in literal tears in the shower. I scrambled for the bottle and started reading the back looking for where it said POISON, ACID, TEAR-INDUCING PAIN and I saw menthol in the middle of the list.It has never been thAt serious, y'all got me messed up. if I wanted to go through this I would've picked up that Dr. bronners Castillo soap. the peppermint one?? Yes. It is that bad. YES IT IS. YES.IT.IS. Don't argue with me. I dried my hair but couldn't finish because the mental was all in my nose and eyes. I still smell it RIGHT NOW. STOP IT.WHERE IS THE HONEY SCENT. WHAT IF I CATCH RONA AND USE THIS. I CAN'T SMELL NOTHING NO MO'. GOOD GOD.

I love this hair mask. My hair is long and damaged from color, heat tools, etc. This made brings out the look of well kept health in my hair. I will continue to buy.

I always use my unove mask no matter what because it all needs that extra kicker yk? this didnt and in fact i had to use less of this than everything else I left it on while I double washed, shaved and everything and i rinsed with cold water and omg the menthol and the cold water felt heavenly on my tender head because I have ig pretty dense thick hair so yk how it feels when its always pulled on .but the slip was great it hydrated my hair nicely and we'll see how it still is after I get it styled<3
