Genuine Kia Fluid UM090-CH035 Air Conditioner Cleaner and Refresher Kit - 18 oz./4 oz.

My local Dealership wanted $65 for this product and another $70 for the servicing of it. Easy enough to use at home and it got the job done in ways I couldn't describe. Well worth the money for my Kia.

It should be mentioned the the product did not come with the adapter, had to buy fix a flat and use the adapter assembly. The product also did not turn into a foam, it was all liquid, and it did the job for a while, but, the smell is back!!!!!!!!!. The product was either old or defective will not do that again!!!!!!!!!!!!.

I can not give an adequate review of how well this product works because it did not come with the necessary adapter hose. 2 kits purchased, no adapter hose received. In the Q and A, a question is asked if the kit comes with the hose, the answer is yes. But in reality, it is no. I will not purchase from this vendor again.

Product worked well 2013 Elantra smells fresh again. Buying more for my other two hyundais just In case

If you happen to have a Kia Soul that has a musty AC smell, then this is the fix. This was a 30 minute job max to complete. I decided to call my local Kia dealer and found that they had the Kia Air Conditioner Cleaner and Refresher Kit in stock. This included the all important dispenser tube with wedge that attached to the top of Can #1. If the Amazon seller does not include it, they forgot to pack it as it is sold with the 2 cans and included in the cost. Thus, going locally to your Kia dealer may be the ticket! The part number is UM090-CH035 and was half of the cost as seen here. I included some pictures. Note that the AC drain tube is located further back than maybe as expected. TIP: Once the wedge is inserted into the end of the AC drain tube, let sit for ~10 minutes after all the foam has been dispensed to get the best results. The foam turns to a liquid and once the wedge is removed, it quickly flows out. Also, do NOT close the windows with the fan on high when doing step two. The goal is to get the final amount of musty smell out. I have also used Lysol for this purpose. It smells better than the Kia Step 2 can. Good luck!
