I bought 3 or 4 other slings that ripped apart after just a few days before I found this sling. I have been using it daily for five months and it is as strong as it was day one. The sling is used to position and lift my 160# mother in bed and in a chair. My only suggestion for improvement would be to make the center support area a few inches narrower. [from 32" down to say 28"] When I move mom into her adjustable bed I have the sling under her bottom and need to bend over the bed to 'lift' her up into position. If the center part were narrower then the handles would be positioned lower and it would be easier to maneuver. I would recommend this sling for its strength and durability.

I bought this to use on my brother. He has Huntington's disease and falls a lot and has problems standing up right. So this works great for so much more. We use it and hold the handles behind him to keep him from falling forward. As he declines this will be used more and more. This helps take the weight off your own back when helping someone.

Strong material but too short to use on my sit to stand lift. If the length was longer it would have been perfect. If using just to turn someone it works.

These transfer slings were employed in an unconventional situation. I have a 200-pound goat with rear limb flaccid paralysis. Moving her without the slings was a four-man job. But employing the slings made for a swift and secure transfer using two young women. They also clean up easily. I highly endorse Heavy Duty Transfer Slings.

I’ve only used it a few times, but it helps my back when helping my 175lb mother out of bed. I also feel that it’s potentially less harmful to her joints and tendons than me pulling her up from the side with my hands under her armpits. I am really pleased. It is well made, attractive and works.

Helps save your back on pickup but not great for transferring..

Very strong and well made. I had to watch the video over and over again because it’s kinda difficult to use if you don’t understand how it works. It’s very slippery and I can get my husband in bed without breaking my back.
