I bought this because it came as a package ( frame and mattress) but especially because the cover was advertised as detachable. I like to be able to wash the fabric covers as they get dirty quickly even though it doesn't always show. This cover was not really detachable on it's own, it was attached to a very thick padding which made it impossible to machine wash it. Otherwise, the sofa was of decent quality, comfortable to sleep on, not very hard to assemble either but time consuming(about 2 hours). The hook that was connecting the seat with the back was not matching the holes; I called the manufacturer and they promised to send me a different one that would work. I received the new one a week later but it was exactly the same with the one I already had. That's when I decided to return the sofa altogether. If you are not too picky, as I am, the sofa might be ok but just a bit pricey since you can get that quality at a cheaper price. Also, maybe a bit too high and you have to pull it forward a bit in order to turn it into a bed.

The top of the arm broke off because it was attached with 2 puny dowels and the boxes look like they were dumped off a truck. They came on a pallet but the boxes are pretty damaged. I have managed to almost assemble 1. I bought these for a vacation rental condo and I am not impressed. Probably sending them back. I opened the one that looked to be in the best shape first. Missing the pads that were supposed to protect the frame. You need to be extraordinarily muscular to bolt this thing together. The screws are just a bit too short when using the provided lock washers and nuts. I wrestled this thing for 3 hours and now I am trying to figure out how the cover goes on. No instructions for that part. Frustrated and unhappy. I should have read the reviews.

For the price, this is the worst futon. It is made poorly. It didn't help that UPS dropped it off looking like the box fell out of a plane, or at least a 20' drop. I will not be ordering anything through Epic Furnishings, this is not the product I wanted to begin with. Thank you UPS for breaking it before I even got it, made the decision 1/100 of a second faster.

This fake leather is just flaking off.not worth the money.no children or pets.only a few months old.

Frame has cracked. Spring is popping out of the center cushion. Lasted about a year before it started falling apart.
