Perfect size for English Muffins
I debated along time about what kind of egg mold I should buy...silicone or stainless steel, 3 or 4 inch, which one won't leak...the answer is they all will leak if you dont use it the right way. That being said, I am extremely happy with these particular molds. They are the PERFECT size for eggs to go on a Thomas English Muffin. If you preheat your pan, spray your pan with some spray oil (which I imagine works best because coverage) AND spray the inside of the mold, your egg will start cooking when it hits the pan and leaking is minimal if any. I pop my yolks and sometimes I get excited and pull the mold off too early and it leaks down onto the sides (see picture, the tiny yolk nubbin on the side) and sometimes the egg sticks where I havent sprayed enough oil. They are pretty easy to clean especially if you dont let food dry on but if you do, soak it for a few minutes then scrub off food. The silicone pincers do not work well for me but a little folded up piece of paper towel suffices just fine. That is probably an error on my part in trying to get good oil coverage. 1 egg cooks up great in this but you could probably use 2 (I use costco jumo eggs) and I'm happy I went with the 3.4 inch vs 3.My mock McDonalds Egg McMuffin just got bumped up a notch too bad my husband didn't notice how neat our sandwiches now. My kids on the other hand get a kick out of these and like to watch me cook the eggs, which honestly is the only thing I'll use these for.

versatile
I purchased six of these for multiple cooking purposes and have used them for all three so far and they worked as I had hoped they would. First, I wanted something to serve as a form/mold for hashbrowns so that I could press them down and compact them to retain a round shape. They worked perfectly. Second, I wanted them to do the same thing for hamburger sliders. Also worked like a charm. Third, I wanted them for the advertised purpose, making an egg over easy that retains a round shape for a breakfast sandwich. They worked as advertised, no leaks when used in my nice flat cast iron skillets. For all three, I use cooking spray to ensure the food doesn't stick to the sides. They clean up easily with dishsoap and a sponge. I also purchased the Norpro Grip-EZ Stainless Steel Meat Pounder sold here on Amazon along with these to serve as the press to compact the potatoes and beef. It fits the circles perfectly.

High quality, works great to make a perfect crumpet!
I wanted to make crumpets after seeing an article in the British press on how to make them. However, I didn't have the necessary cooking rings. I selected these after reviewing the options and sizes available and I'm very happy with the thickness, size and quality of this product. The silicone holders help to easily grasp the ring handles to remove the rings. The thickness of the metal helps conduct the heat to make perfect crumpets. The rings are a good size with very smooth circular surface for crumpets or to cook other items in the ring such as an egg. My first batch of crumpets were eaten very soon after taken off the griddle! Very quick and easy to mix the ingredients but allow 1 1/2 hours for first rise of yeast dough and 1/2 hour for a second rise before cooking the dough on a medium hot griddle. Place the rings on the griddle, spray with oil, and fill the heated rings with dough and cook for 8-9 minutes. Remove the ring and flip the crumpet to brown the other side for 1-2 minutes. If you want, after making your perfect crumpet, use the griddle and rings to cook a round egg to enjoy with your crumpet. The rings are super easy to clean. I store mine in the box they came in to keep them safe. Respect your cookware!

Easily The Best Egg Ring I've Used
I've been through three different egg rings and these are almost perfect. I like to use two jumbo eggs and while these will hold them, they will also let them overflow while cooking. But for a one egg sandwich with bacon and salsa cooked into the egg, they're great. The inside is smooth enough that they clean easier than most metal rings. (I like metal because it lets the heat crawl up the ring and set the outside on the egg. They flip easier that way.) The diameter is just right for a muffin.

Eggs not so great
It did not work as well as I thought it would. Took awful long time to do eggs. I gave them away after using once.

It keeps the egg in the ring and is the right size for English Muffins.

Work great.
Perfect for English muffin sandwiches. Let heat up and spray with pam then nothing sticks. As long as use once heated, no leaking under the ring.

Disappointed
I thought I had read enough reviews to settle on these egg rings. If you put butter in the ring on the inside the very first egg you cook comes out great, but if you cook a second one without cleaning it completely you end up with a sticking mess. I expected more. Will try a silicone ring or dish next.
