I thought being cheap and that you measure it from your wrist and not the top of your arm I really didn't think this would be much good but I was so wrong! I suffer with atrial fibrillation and high blood pressure so I have to have my blood pressure and pulse etc taken a lot. So I know what my blood pressure normally reads at and this is not far off at all and I also know that my heart rate is slow due to medication I have to take, my blood pressure is also under control through medication. This is a good bit of kit and for the price 100% recommend to anyone who would like to keep an eye on their blood pressure / heart rate. How accurate this is I don't know if its 100% accurate but I know for sure that it is not far off if at all.It’s also good how you can sync this with your phone and store your readings etc. When you click the power button it starts to measure your blood pressure straight away. After around 30 seconds you will have your result and it speaks to you and tells you your blood pressure and heart rate and weather its normal or abnormal. You can also set an alarm to remind you to either measure your blood pressure or take medication which is a good feature to people who have to monitor their blood pressure several times a day.I must say though when you use this make sure that you don't wear it like a watch, make sure the face of the monitor is at bottom of your wrist like in the photos. I have also added a video to show you how to do it correctly because when I first got it I was wearing it like a watch and was not getting accurate readings.I hope this helps some of you and if you would like to know anything I’ve not mentioned then leave a comment and I will try get back to you as soon as I can.

The voice prompts are a useful feature which are multilingual English, French and Spanish but equally they can be switched off, I have checked my BP and compared it to a recent visit to the doctors I am happy that this unit is comparable in terms of accuracy, the unit is compact and can also be used stand alone i.e. without being connected to a mobile device since BP and heart rate data are stored on the device, I would highly recommend this unit for it's build quality also easy and comfort of use.

The wrist strap wraps around any size adult wrist with a soft band and secured by velcro. Once engaged (by pressing power button) the band inflates to stop blood flow temporarily to allow checking of your blood pressure and measures your heart beat.You are supposed to hold it to your chest while it "beeps" away providing a fairly accurate reading of your physical well-being.It keeps a record of your results around 30 measurements, any more will over-write the oldest record. You can delete records also.This is handy as you may be aiming for a target of lower or better health check in a general fitness program.There is also a Bluetooth app for you to use with this device. The readings are aloud by an American sounding female voice - you can change that as per several languages. The day, date and time can also be input as I did on mine.It's a really handy gadget which will aid me in my fitness regime and for around £23 well worth the money!

I bought this mostly because I wanted to keep the data in my phone and check the average measurements. unfortunately the app only lists the readings, if you want to see the average blood pressure you have to use the menu on the meter itself as the app won't show you.The export option will send the data to your email where it is presented in an html table, I would expect at least a csv file.I enabled the google fit option in the settings but haven't seen any readings appearing there.The interface in the device itself is not intuitive at all and you will need the manual for anything beyond measuring blood pressureFor basic use it's good enough, if you just want to check your blood pressure just put it on and press the button.
