Great Read!!
This is about the 4th Book I've read about Ed. And it's by far my favorite. The background, the history , the description. Realky well written. I'm about half way through and I'm fascinated. I thought I knew just about everything that's out there about him. While there are some things in here I did know the details and background makes the picture all come together. It's like the jigsaw puzzle stating to take shape. Add the well written descriptions of the places and I feel like I'm there. This is a Must read for any Sheeran fan. If you live Ed it's a treat and a look into what made him the artist he is!

A fun, informative book about an interesting, genuinely nice person - who just happens to be famous
I received this book specifically to write a review. That said, I try to be transparent, honest, and open in all my reviews.Ed Sheeran is a famous, really, really famous musician, and this book covers his story from his earliest days as a budding, young musician in a middle-class family to his meteoric rise and his reign as a musical superstar. In general, celebrities are often portrayed as not being nice. Whether this is caused by the stress of their jobs, just being surrounded by people that want to please them, living in the lap of luxury, or something else entirely is not clear. But, when people think of celebrities, they don't often think of people that you'd want to go to the pub with and have a beer with.Enter Ed Sheeran. He truly seems like somebody that not only would you want to have a beer with, but you also feel as though Ed would want to have a beer with you.He spends a lot of his time lately working for charity organizations and donating his time and talents.Although the book understates this a bit, it is not hard to read between the lines and realize just how talented Ed Sheeran is.To be honest, I am not a rabid Ed Sheeran fan, but after reading this book I am going to go out and get some more of his music. This is a very good book, it is informative, and it was a fun read.I highly recommend it

Well written, and interesting
Wifey is a big fan of his music and was keen to know more about him. Here’s her take on the Ed Sheeran biography:I always enjoy reading biographies, so I have been reading the book Ed Sheeran a Biography by Sean Smith. It's a nice read 304 pages so it isn't going to take forever and you won't get bored with it. I have always enjoyed the music and the interviews that I have seen with Ed Sheeran. He seemed to be soft-spoken and is not afraid to talk about any issues that he may have dealt with. I do have to give props to the author in the way he wrote the book going from the beginning to the current, not like some that I have read that only covers bits and pieces of the person's career and not just the parts that are the high points. I will be looking for more bios written by Sean Smith.

Good read for Ed fans
I'm a huge fan of Ed Sheeran. I own all his albums (even though the last collaboration one was pretty disappointing to me). He's a pretty private person, so I was pretty curious about his biography. The writing wasn't the best (English creative writing major here), but the information was good and I enjoyed reading about his background overall (added some googling for pictures when I could find them).Good read if you're a fan and want to know more about how he got started.

Factual, fawning,
I'm assuming this is a factual biography of Sheeran, if a bit fawning. I liked it, but I know there must be someone out there who doesn't like Ed. Also,, I can do without the astrology chart. A rose-tinted image of the singer is one thing, but a mystical hocus-pocus reading is way over the edge. I almost expected dream interpretations would be next !!If I paid full price for this, I'd be disappointed.

good read
I have always like Ed Sheeran. He is a very talented singer, guitar player and song writer. I was always curious how he got his start in the business and how he got famous. This book will answer all of your questions about Ed. You will also love all the photos. Easy to read. Well written. Hard to put down.

Got this for the girl
She is a Sheeran fan. So she has read this book cover to cover and enjoyed every word. She learned more about him than she expected too. She is 12 and if this book can get her to read and enjoy the reading, then it is fine with me that it is about a celebrity who seems to be really nice.
