Excellent Value
My order arrived today and I'm happy to report that they are everything I hoped for.In brief, I agree with poster Logical's five star rating.Per Wiki, there are two main types of plastic used in DVD covers. The old quintessential "crystal" cases were made from brittle polystyrene. The other, modern material, I believe, is called polypropylene, which is pliable, resilient, extremely tough, but still solid enough to hold its shape, characteristics these obviously have.I did an edgewise test drop with one from refrigerator height. It bounced around a bit, but stayed closed with no damage. No sign it even took a tumble.Manufacturing quality is excellent, particularly in regard to dimensional molding accuracy. Each sample I tried closed easily, everything lined up. A slight pinch at each corner to lock closed gives you a reassuring click. The edges are rounded to provide easy insertion into a bookshelf or box-set box. There is a detent in the middle to facilitate opening by providing edges for one's fingers to grab, making it easy to pop open again. The hinge area is square and has a flat surface to display title lettering. I cut down a sheet of standard 8x11 printer paper by about an inch and had no trouble bending back the hinge a bit and sliding it right in under the clear wraparound. Clever design. No tape or glue necessary. It still closed normally with the full sheet, though, I think that I will decide to leave some room on the backside so as to be able to ascertain the status of he DVD's inside at a glance. The case itself is slightly translucent, which I find esthetically pleasing, but still clear enough to make out detail like the shine of the DVD's underside.Placing the DVD on the hub was hassle free. It's held securely. I don't know if this has happened to you but I have had occasions in the past with DVDs getting "stuck" on the center hub of older style cases. You press the button and nothing happens. Very irksome. There is also danger of cracking the DVD center hole trying to pull it off. Not the case here. Pushing the center hub button feels remarkably smooth, and to my mind, requires just the right amount of pressure. The DVD safely released right off.High marks for SuperMediaStore. Also has "Linky" above on the invoice. Maybe that is the actual manufacturer? In any event, the order was shipped and arrived promptly. Cases arrived in pristine condition lined up in two neat rows of fifty in a perfectly sized cardboard box. This was enveloped in plastic, presumably as a moisture barrier, which was then contained in a larger corrugated shipping box, and surrounded by foam packing. Even the foam "popcorn" was high quality, clean, no crumbs or dust.Excellent value at $34.99 which included shipping, 35 cents each net cost. One additional aside: I discovered that three of these will slide snugly but nicely into an old VHS sleeve box, so one can make an instant box-set for oneself with essentially, zero effort.Final Note to Amazon: In the future, perhaps encourage vendors to specify what kind of plastic in product descriptions where appropriate. It would eliminate uncertainty. It's a crucial issue for DVD boxes at least.

Great Product
Very satisfied. These came neatly packed with none broken. They are just what I needed and have helped me size down my DVD collection considerably. It took a little time trimming the cover art down but it wasn't difficult and they save so much space! My shelf has gone from overflowing to having room to expand my collection if I want. They are flexible but also seem to be durable and the center connections hold the discs securely so they aren't falling out but yet the discs come out of the holders easily without a fight. There are no document clips inside but they papers will still fit right inside. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Really good product
I was pleased that the quality of the product was better than I expected. For only $20-$30 for 100 cases I was expecting them to be pretty crappy. Now, one of the cases did arrive broken on the corner but I could still use it, and I consider 99/100 a success. I was very pleased to be able to get all of my DVD's onto one shelf instead of two. I plan to order more of these in the future for sure! It's really nice that they have 2 slots for extra features discs, TV shows etc. and a sleeve on the front that you can just transfer your current DVD cover slip to. The ONLY negative part about that is that I had to cut about 1/4 inch off of both sides of the slips so that they would fit in the slimmer cases. If you have 200-300 movies to transfer I would set aside a few hours to do this! :D

What I wanted
I was making a video of a dance showcase for our clients and wanted to offer them a standard DVD and a Hi Def, AVCHD DVD. I figure that eventually everyone will have HDTV and Blu-ray players so they would appreciate the thought. I could not find 2 disk cases anywhere locally. I ordered these from Amazon and they fit my needs perfectly. They hold 2 regular DVD's and have a plastic cover so I could slip a label in there. I took our showcase program and resized it to 7" x 10.25" at 5" I wrote the title in vertical text. This label fits perfectly and the title is visible along the spine. I only needed 20 but we will be doing more videos like this in the future so they will be on hand. Good price, prompt delivery. Will reorder more when these are close to running out.

Terrible Product.
Beware! Do not buy these cases. I just received my order today and ALL 100 of them are bent. The plastic is very flimsy and it's obvious that they were stored unevenly in the warehouse. Also, 50 of the 100 cases have clasps that will not lock into place at all, leaving me unable to close the case all together. The cases are so bent that I will not place my DVDs in them. I'd have to bend all of my DVDs in order to get them in, and that's obviously not going to happen. What a waste of money!!!

The first box was great. The hard plastic casing was almost perfectly flat ...
I've ordered 3 boxes of these (so 300 total). The first box was great. The hard plastic casing was almost perfectly flat and felt sturdy. None of the DVD cases were broken, and the clear plastic covering for inserting your own labels was tight enough to hold labels without making it painful to insert them. The second box was almost as great. 3 of the cases were a little damaged, but they still close and hold DVDs as expected. The third box is actually a different product. The hard plastic case is no longer mostly flat. It is very bumpy which may impact aesthetics of the final result but I'm not sure. The clear sleeve seems slightly looser, but not so loose to be useless. No obvious broken cases, though we haven't used them all yet. In general they feel flimsier and not as good. They also don't close quite as nicely. This box is the reason I'm only giving 3 stars instead of 4.
