This little book set is adorable. My 1 year old Granddaughter time and again grabs this set and plays with it. Loves the colors and drawings. She loves putting the books in and taking them out of the holder. Great GIFT!!!

I loved the content and texture of the book — perfect for children. I just wish the books had a bit more information.

I mention sturdy because my child has a knack to do all manners of destruction with anything in his hand. I fear for paperback books in my 1yr old hand. These books are short, cute, easy reads, and sturdy hardcovers that will take more then a 1yr to destroy quickly lol. Recommend

I was really excited to get this set and start introducing some global perspectives to my toddler. The books are small and sturdy, great for little hands. Each book is very thick as well. I was so surprised and very disappointed to open these and realize that each book contains only four pages! Across all four thick books, there are only 16 items or places: - Landmarks: Eiffel tower in Paris, France; Great pyramids in giza, Egypt; Taj Mahal in Agra, India; Statue of liberty in NYC, USA - Vehicles: double decker bus in London, England; Cable car in San Francisco, USA; sailboat in Bridgetown, Barbados; Tuk tuk in Chiang Mai, Thailand - Food: pretzel in Frankfurt, Germany; taco in Chihuahua, Mexico; sushi in Tokyo, Japan; Gelato in Florence, Italy - Animals: lemur in Madagascar; puffin in Iceland; tortoise on the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador; kangaroo in Australia It's such a shame, because the illustrations are lovely, the colors are bright, and the captions are nicely written. But for the amount of space these take up, you really don't get a lot of content for your money. They could have made the pages thinner and had triple the content, which is more what I was expecting. Even a single, larger book with thinner board pages would have been preferable. Maybe this is better for SUPER young babies, but even for a 2 year old we will fly through these in about a minute. I will keep them and show them to my child, but I am sad that the books are so sparse.

These board book sets are adorable, they look great on my child’s bookshelf and they’re as durable as board books for an infant/toddler can get. The illustrations are fun and baby-friendly. The contents of the book are light, roughly one sentence per page.
