Florida's Finest Pina Colada Creamy Coconut Patties Dipped in Chocolate 12oz

We always get coconut patties when we go to florida but i had never see pina colada ones.. I loved them.. my dad said he wasn't impressed but I thought they were delicious. Its not a strong pina colada flavor just a hint!

I thought it was really. Couldn't taste the chocolate just coconut. A bit too sweet but tasty.

We used to grab these in Ft Lauderdale annually to send to friends and family all through the 80s and 90s, so after not seeing them for a while (and not being back to Florida) we saw them up on Amazon. The box is exactly how I remember them, so we bought a few boxes to share with family and new friends. Some of the product we received was a melted oily mess, but that didnt effect the flavor. I also was surprised that the wonderful coconut flavor I remember was almost nonexistent behind the strong flavor of palm oil. Even more disappointing was that the rich chocolate was also diminished into bland waxy nothingness. I'm a bit floored with my disappointment at the current quality with these former gems. The best are the Key Lime (they have flavor), but other flavors don't shine through well at all. Probably we won't buy these again until we visit FL again...

I've had these in Florida on vacation and thought I'd order some when I got home. The were still a few months from expiration (Sept 2024) but were hard as a rock, stale and inedible. So disappointed! The individual wrappers didn't seem sealed very well (which I have noticed on previous purchases). It happens right? but with no recourse for replacement of credit, it's unacceptable. If I had bought them locally, they would have gone back to the store.

These are great coconut patties. They have been a classic treat from Florida for many years .
