Was this churchkhela like buying some off the street in Tbilisi? No. But it IS the closest thing one can get here in the USA. And, overall, it was quite good tasting and a fairly natural churchkhela without being laden with preservatives or unnecessary chemicals (like I almost expected for exported goods). Given that Iberian warriors carried this stuff into battle because of its calorie-dense heartiness and ability to last for a long time without refrigeration, I am glad that what comes from this seller was true to the natural goodness of churchkhela and didn't add anything to it. Honestly, the only reason it is different than what you can get in Georgia is because of it's shape and freshness ... the vacuum seal on these means it's likely fresher than whatever you'd buy off a street-vendor. So, in actuality, perhaps this is the best churchkhela out there!! That said, having it shipped to your house is a far cry from experiencing another country, so YMMV. Either way, this s agreat product and you shouldn't hesitate to buy it.

I am originally from Georgia and Churchkhela is my favorite sweet snack. I am amazed how delicious your Churchkhela is! I will definately order more, it's a bit pricey though... but still worth it. The problem is I eat them very fast ,can't stop because of how tasty and healthy it is :)

If I could I would give 0 star to this product. Normally I don’t write reviews but this time I just can’t be silent. I am Georgian myself and know what churchkela tastes like. This product has absolutely nothing in common with the real churchkela. In my opinion you will be buying an expensive sugar.

This stuff is delicious. It is probably very labor intensive to make since it has to be dried between each coating of thickened grape juice so it's definitely worth the price. I really love it. Big fan.

I love the grape juice on the outside, but my batch had waaaaaaay too many nuts in it. When I first bought these there were only a few nuts throughout, but the last one someone went crazy with them and it made eating it less enjoyable. I gave 5 stars still because I hope it was just a mistake the one time, otherwise next time I won’t be back to buy more.

Fresh! Usually when I order snacks and candy from other countries, they come stale. But I couldn’t resist and needed some sort of remanence of this snack. It didn’t fail me! It tastes good and fresh and brought back many memories. Thank you!

Very delicious churchkhela, not too sweet, me and my wife like all three tastes, but cherry is the best :)Also it is easy to carry anywhere with you because it is sealed individually.
