Students are challenged to identify and correct grammatical errors, to create sentences using specific grammatical forms, and to modify the structure of sentences. The complete kit includes a full-color, hard-back game board, 4 sets of playing cards, markers, and a spinner. • Card Set 1 - Fix the Sentence. The student is presented with a sentence that contains a grammatical error. The student's task is to correct the sentence by replacing the word that appears in bold type. In some cases, the student may need to replace the word with two words to create a sentence that is grammatically correct. • Card Set 2 - Question Completion. Each game card includes an "answer" to a question. The beginning word in this question is listed on the card. The child's task is to finish the question. • Card Set 3 - Construct a Sentence. The student is asked to create a sentence using the words on the game card. To create a grammatically correct sentence, the student will need to add additional words to the sentence and may need to change the form of the verb. • Card Set 4 - Combine the Sentences. A group of sentences is listed on each card. The student's task is to create a single sentence that contains the critical information from the sentences on the cards.
