Knowing God's Word: Women of Faith Study Guide Series Paperback – Import, 15 April 2005

I was looking for a Bible study/daily devotion that was more than the 5 minute pat on the back/slap on the wrist that I was used to reading. This definitely delivered. Technically, the study is designed to be done over 12 weeks in a small group format, but it can also be adapted to individual home use. I would sometimes complete a chapter over 2 or 3 days. A leader's guide is included in the back in case you get stuck.This book teaches you different ways to study the Bible - from using reference material to outlining to doing word studies. You will feel like you are back in school, but that is what I was looking for.NOTE: other resources will be needed, but normally online versions can be found. For example, to get maximum benefit from the study you will need resources such as an expository dictionary, commentaries, and various translations.

I love all of these books. Very easy to understand and learn from. For the beginner or the more knowledgeable.

I have struggled for years when it comes to studying the bible. I figured out how to read multiple versions to gain understanding but that was about it. This book shows so many easy to use tools to help you get a much better understanding of God's Word. I highly recommend this for new and old Christians alike who want to learn to do more than just read God's Word. Learn to study in various ways to enhance your understanding of the Scriptures.

I have been looking for ways to enrich my biblical studies, instead of only relying on church services or discussions. I needed this study guide that provides stories, you can relate to, stories that makes you think. Besides the wonderful short stories, examples provided, there are excellent questions asked, for your input. I truly believe this is crucial to any woman of faith, which helps in your continued growth. I would not provide a review, you could not trust, enjoy your purchase, and enjoy your study :-)

These study guides are so beautifully worded and well written that you really feel a connection with the book and the bible. It is the 2nd on the set that I purchased and I plan to purchase the rest.
