I have tried all the different mats but none of the really feel like hitting on grass. On top of that there are no good mats for hitting from the rough. I have a Rukknet and love it so i decided to try this mat as well.PROS:1. The Fairway mat allows your clubhead to divot without bouncing off the mat. It allows a shallow divot swing. I have 3 different kinds of the high end mats that say that the divot like real grass. They do not. They are as stiff as range mats. I stand on a range mat and have this in front of me so that i am level with this mat.2. The tight lie mat is realistic enough and really absorbs a lot of the force because of the rubber backing.3. The Rough mat is a good simulation of normal rough, not thick rough. It t really simulates well. Any swing I practice on this mat, i can do the same swing on the course or the green.4. It is a durable mat. My daughter and i have hit thousands of full swings on this and it is not even damaged in any way. I also leave this outside on my chipping station in my backyard putting and chipping green. I dont want to damage the expensive rough on my green so i use this for chipping.CONS:1. There is only one con to this. For my 9 year old that needs to use this for chipping, she cannot reach the middle rough. We have to rotate it so that the 3 mats are facing her. Minor thing though.SUMMARY:I love this mat. I use this all the time and it really feels good. It is better than the big expensive range mats.

This turf mat is high quality. We have had it since Christmas and my son uses it almost everyday and it still looks brand new! I highly recommend this for any golf enthusiast trying to get a few extra strokes in.

My only complaint is the size as the picture with a smaller golfer avatar is a bit misleading. For this price should be larger.However, I do recommend this practice mat. The size is large enough and very well made. I like the 3 different surfaces for pitching and hitting long irons/woods. I have not yet tried my driver on this mat but I feel it will be fine as many reported. I have this on my patio with concrete pavers where this product is very secure. The mat is heavy enough where it does not shift at all despite it's size. It's size and weight is very well balanced as there is plenty of hitting surface.The overall grass quality of all 3 artifical surfaces is fantastic and the backing of the mat is excellant. Definitely has signs of a higher end product.

I finally broke down and bought a hitting mat after doing some research at stores, online and from friends. This works perfect for at-home or some driving ranges with artificial turf to hit from. At home, I set it on the patio and chip into the yard. You can put tees in the darker side, the rough is the rough, I use it for chipping, as well as the clean section. It helps for practice and now my backyard looks like a driving range when I'm finished, which is ok. I've already chipped well over 300 balls off of the 'rough' and 'clean' side and they are holding up well. It doesn't really slide unless you chunk into it, but it's heavy enough to stay put. I like it. Now I need a net.

From the opening of the box to see how the items were packaged to the actual quality of the golf mat, this is a great purchase for anyone in need of a truly foldable golf mat with three different types of "grass" surfaces that will also hold a tee LOOK NO FURTHER!!! I've had this mat for a week now. I have paired this with the Rukket net (great net!) and place it on the grass. Here are some pros and cons:Pro:Very portable - it folds up nicely and not heavy at all.Construction material appears to be of good qualityI got the larger size and is adequate for my needsThree different tee sizesCons:The fairway portion sits too high compared to the others. I would need another mat to stand on. Otherwise, it's good practice for a lie that's above your feet.I wish there was a tee that was a little taller.Some rub off on the club (this is very minor and it easily comes off)The mat moves slightly (also very minor and this doesn't bother me much)

We love our Rukket mat and pair that with our driving and chipping nets, we have made an indoor driving range.

Excellent product, as described and delivered on time. I have hit over 100 golf balls a day for 2 weeks and the mat still looks brand new. It's heavy enough to hit off my driveway with minimal movement or on my lawn where it does not move. I would recommend and purchase again if needed.
