Aclumsy 7' Portable Beach Umbrella with Tilt and Silver Coating Inside, Integrated Sand Anchor and Air Vent Parasol Sun Shelter, Carry Bag Included (Blue/White Stripe)

This beach umbrella is lightweight, the umbrella and pole are durable, and the price is a deal. The carrying bag it comes with looks nice but the shoulder strap became completely detached from the bag after just 20 minutes of carrying. Then, when I arrived at the beach, I was further disappointed when I realized that the "integrated sand anchor" is nothing more than a simple spike at the end of the pole. It was a windy day at the beach and the umbrella was uprooted from its hole quickly. By this point I'm quite annoyed with the product, but I want to give it another try so I dug a narrow channel about 14"-16" deep and packed it in with sand. This helped alot, although there were times when wind gusts above 15mph had me worried so I would collapse the umbrella for a few minutes until the wind died down. The bag was disappointing and the spike being marketed as an anchor is what upset me the most because I felt like I was mislead. Why wouldn't they have designed it as a cork screw or T-bar? You know, a real sand anchor. This company has a lot to learn about making products that last more than a half hour with out coming undone at the seams or using misleading marketing terms to prey on their customers.

I could not believe it I went out to get if off my porch and when I looked at i knew right then it could not even be four foot. Unreal now I have to deal with all the crap of sendinding it back. It plainly states it is a 7 ft umbrella well the one I got was not even close. So now to the ups to return it when I get a reply back from them. I do not understand how they mistook this umbrella to be 7 ft and not even four and mailed it anyway. I hope I get my money back this is crazy.

Sturdy pole, flimsy struts. It's fine on a calm day, but with a serious breeze, it is flimsy and the struts break at the join. Wind turning an umbrella inside out and breaking indicates a design far too delicate for a reliable beach umbrella. Quite a disappointment. Should have known better.When choosing a beach umbrella, you do want a thick pole. You want struts that will stand up to at least a 15 mph wind.That is not this umbrella.

This is a large, nice quality fabric umbrella, but we took it to the beach and it kept blowing over. Reason being is that their is nothing other than some threads around the base of the umbrella that make it look like it can just be screwed into the ground. Unless you can find a way to bury it 8-12", it doesn't stand well.My bad for not looking a little more closely at the picture of the base before I bought & then I'd have found a sand anchor to attached to it. I'll purchase an anchor next year then I will be totally pleased with functionality.

This umbrella is not worth purchasing. The first use, the strap on the bag broke off. The second use, one gust of wind broke the part that holds the umbrella up which rendered the umbrella useless. I do not recommend this product.

Nice beach umbrella for the price. It is easy to carry, has the matching sleeve to keep it neat and easy to assemble. Does not seem very sturdy for strong beaches breezes. The spokes seemed very thin and bendable. You can't hang your tshirt or cover up on the spokes because they bend so much. I've taken it to the beach twice so far and no issues.

This beach umbrella was no better than my last one, still super flimsy and hard to have it stand right in the sand and it's almost as expensive as a patio umbrella but couldn't do the job at all. Every 10 to 15 minutes, we'd have to get up and fix the umbrella position because it keeps getting tilted and fall off by the wind.

Make sure to bring some sort of digging tool. There is no corkscrew on this to assist in digging deep enough to withstand more than a slight breeze. If I came properly prepared to the beach I would not have had a problem.It comes fully assembled and was a good value.
