These are essential-they prevent the metal bangs over speed bumps and potholes
I bought two of these to replace on my 2004 jeep Liberty. One new and one Amazon Certified Used.First the used one: It was good to get this used part at a good price. Looked pretty much new. Tip: grease the top edges with silicone to help install the product. One edging ripped off because I tried to put it in dry. It still holds its place though; it is being held on by four more edgings. It did not seem to seat in flush with the metal holder but the used product seats in better after driving over a few speed bumps as the upper control arm will push it in place better. It should be a lot stronger than that though and should not tear so easily. Maybe because it was used? So one star off.The new one was much firmer and the spongy material seems to not be as brittle as the used one. It went on much easier than the used one. It popped right into place and seated well in the metal holder. I did use silicone spay here on this one too.Its intended purpose is for your upper control arm to push up into the jounce when driving over potholes and speed bumps and curbs or whatever. This prevents the strut from fully compressing and allowing your upper control arm to hit the rubber jounce instead of the metal jounce holder on the top of the front wheel wells. If your did not have these (there should be one on each side of the front suspension) or if they were terribly worn, there would be a big metallic BANG as you drove over speed bumps and potholes. This would make a bumpy ride and a lot of suspension problems quickly. So, they are essential!NOTE: You get free shipping but not 2 day PRIME (sigh...I'm spoiled).Added Note: just bought my second set. These are a must have on you front suspension. Use a 1x4 and the top of the tire as leverage to get them in. Also spray the top and the metal housing with WD50 silicone spray to aid in the insertion. Quality product and best price and shipping. Replace as needed or every 2ish year's. I now grant it 5 Stars!!!

Bump stop replacements for my son's Jeep Liberty
Worked great, semi easy to install if you know what you are doing, and arrived on time.

A good buy
These bump stops fit and worked great on my 2003 Jeep Liberty. The material seems to be foam injected with rubber, which feels sturdy enough. The original stops from my car aren't identical to these, but the material is similar. These stops are a good 1 to 1 1/2 inches taller than the originals, and they don't have a raised groove that fits neatly into the control arm.Not that it matters but just something I noticed. As far as performance small bumps are dramatically improved and these are well worth the money.A note on installing them, some reviewers mentioned popping them in with a piece of wood or simply by hand. This isn't really possible unless you jack the car up, otherwise there's just not enough room to fit anything underneath the bump stop to pop it into place. What I did was clean out the cup where the old bump stop was to make sure all of the old stop was completely removed, then greased the new bump stop with windex (you could use soapy water or really anything that's slick) and then simply slid the stop into place. Then I took my car on a short drive over some bumpy roads and both stops were perfectly popped into the top bump stop cup.

Good but the material could be better
These are easy to install but I have only had them for a few months and I already see some large cracks in them. Might be my bottom brackets but, I’d say the material could be a bit better

easy install
They seem to be a really good fit nice and snug. Found the easiest way to install the was to grease the upper edge only with silicon and use the cars jack to press them into place (wedged between the upper control arm and the jounce bumper ) a couple of turns of the jack's screw and they pop right into place --easy pezey---

Surprised with the quality
It's a bump stop. It's not the $140 Mopar bump stop it's much more reasonable. Lubricate the hell out of it before you install because it's a tight fit. I was very skeptical based on OEM price vs this but I'd buy it again in a heartbeat wow.I used a long prybar on the upper control arm underneath a 12 oz soft face mallet to use the mallet against the bump stop and wedge it up.If you need a bump stop for these vehicles get this I promise it's good quality and value

Perfect fit for 04 Liberty
This was a perfect fit and easy install. I installed these while doing front shocks, but this probably could have been done without removing the front tire (just with a little bit of wrestle due to reduced clearance). They're doing the job perfectly, I was just out on a job site today with them that was heavily rutted, and no more clunks from old shocks combined with dead, worn out bump stops. Plus, considering how horribly priced the factory replacements were, these felt like a very fair price for working so well!

Install was fairly simple and is made of a good quality materials
So far this product is all that it can be. Install was fairly simple and is made of a good quality materials. Not more banging metal to metal when I go over large bumps.
