Nice for hot beverages
Edited: I have been using these everyday for 2 years! Not many products stand up to that. I LOVE them! I see that they are currently unavailable...hope that Amazon brings them back. This is a great product.I use these everyday. This is the only straw I could find for hot beverages. I use it as a stirrer for my creamer and then I sip my coffee thru it. My only complaint is cleaning it. I want to do more than just run water thru it, so I have been using pipe cleaners. They work, but since they are disposable, that adds up, I have not been able to find a brush thin enough. This should come with a reusable pipe-cleaner sized brush.

Too fat... tore my silicone lids twice for my ceramic cups..also, I should have probably should have bought the shorter straws.

Smile Bright Everyones Looking
I bought this for two reasons --1) I wanted to use a straw to drink my coffee so that I could minimize staining.2) I didn't want to use just any straw because cheaper plastic straws raise fears of chemicals leaching into my body.The straws came in packs of three and I fell in love with them. I feel a lot better now when I drink my coffee.Some people may look at you strange, but who cares. People are probably going to look at you anyways, so what's the problem?

The top of the mug is made of a soft rubber material and I was not comfortable drinking out of the top
I ordered these to use with new travel mugs that I had purchased. The top of the mug is made of a soft rubber material and I was not comfortable drinking out of the top. I ordered these straws and they fit perfectly in the cap and since these straws are made for hot beverages, I did not worry about using the straws. The plastic is very thick and strong. I would highly recommend.

Good straws
Now I can't drink coffee without straws because it keeps my teeth clean! People keep asking if the straws are real or not.
