Mega Brands Graphic Skinz Design Studio Boy

I bought the Graphic Skinz studio for my friend's son and he's 8. He really enjoyed the vacuum chamber and the cool suction of the machine. The 3 toys included come disassembled in many pieces so each project took some time to complete. He really liked picking the design sheets, cutting them and shaping them around the plastic pieces. It was pretty time consuming but he stayed engaged and his sister wanted to play with it too. It's not a very messy toy either...except you may spill a little bit of water on your table or floor. The design sheets are just like temporary tattoos but they aren't so temporary. Once you apply them, they are stuck on; but, we learned that if you want to apply more designs, you can easily layer them on top of each other.Both kids are hooked on the fun and the skinning. They were even more excited about finding household things to design as well. They skinned a pen and some paint brushes and even a mini photo frame. It's probably a good idea to pick up some of the extra design sheet packs so you don't run out.Overall it's really fun and a great concept that's a mixture between a craft and a toy. Good for boys and girls I think.

Our son wanted this all year. We bought it for his birthday. A few tips: Make sure the pointy edges of the pieces you put in are covered by the skinz and be sure to wring out as much water as you can. We made the mistake of leaving one of the point edges of the car out and it popped the bag the third time we used it. Not sure if they sell replacement bags yet or not, but it would be worth purchasing a few to have on hand.

My grandsons were not able to use this my themselves (they are 6) and needed grownup supervision to do it. When they did put the part and skin into the chamber, it did not "stick" properly and fell off once it dried. The pieces were small and it involved a lot of cutting to size the skins properly. It was not what I expected. Plus, they were given a set of dinosaurs without the motorized chamber....it was not written on the outside of the box that the chamber was not included, so I had to buy that so they could use the other gift. There is no way to do this without the chamber. All in all, the boys were not happy with this and lost interest in it before they had even put skins on all the pieces. I still have lots of pieces and skins in a box for them but they don't want to be bothered using them. They would prefer to just assemble the dinos without the skins. I feel it was a waste.

Got this for the kids I take care and we had a great time. They are 7yo and really enjoyed picking the desingns and colors to build their toys.This toy works through suction and it needs water so it may be a little tricky to let them play with it by themselves. But other than that it will provide you an entertainement for one hour or so..

Not durable in any sense of the word. 3 stars given because it would still be fun for kids as a learning project or on objects that aren't meant to be handled. A gentle fingernail will take this stuff right off. My vaccum bag did not could not hold a good seal either. Bought it to wrap some of my vape mods. Will not be sufficient if you are thinking of trying the same.

When I saw this I thought how awesome! But I was pretty disappointed, it's more like tattoos for toys, you have to cut out the tattoo and then get the sponge wet and wrap it around the toy and then put it in the machine, which just sucks all the water out of the sponge. I'm pretty sure it can all be done without the machine. I did give it 3 stars because it's kinda fun for kids they just don't turn out like you expect..

Bought for my 7 year old and he 💙 it. I had to help out a lot!!! It's like putting temporary tattoos on to plastic parts that make something fun. Product box was damaged. Thankfully the parts inside were fine.

This holds the attention of my almost-3 and almost-5 year old boys. Lots of steps for them to help with. They enjoy choosing the skinz, helping cut, counting to 20 as the vacuum does its work, putting the pieces together into dinosaur and car models, etc.

Grandson just loved it
