Not simple, but not impossible
Really enjoyed assembling this model. Not easy to do, but it wouldn't be so enjoyable if it were simple. I found the parts to be very accurate but because of the size, some were quite delicate so take care when removing from panels. Instructions are not easy to understand as they have been translated into English. I found it best to read them several times to get it clear what is required. Otherwise I found no faults, and would be happy to recommend this model to anyone.

An overpriced masterpiece, flawed by meaness.
The kit looks like it will build well and look great when finished, but there is no glue supplied, or tissue paper if you had wanted to cover it, just nine sheets of thin ply, laser-cut, a small amount of black cotton thread and a sanding stick. That is all. They do not even recommend a particular type of glue. It is certainly not an easy challenge to a model builder, but I will save it for Christmas and hopefully enjoy it. Had it been £10 cheaper I would give another star.

Brilliant but very difficult
Loved making it but it is a very difficult model to make and the pieces are hard to cut out.

Easy
Don’t listen to reviews saying it’s difficult , take your time follow the instructions and bingo . Takes quite a few sessions to complete , for me I bought a couple of similar models as a trial run for building a £359 wooden model . Not sure what to do with it when finished ! Probably make good kindling

Poor quality - not worth the cost
The item description very misleading, in part states Balsa then later says ply. The kit is very poor quality ply wood and parts do not fit well together, instructions lack any detail. Being very experienced at model making very disappointed in the quality of this one. Not worth half the cost.

great products with hours and hours of fun
The finished products was a joy to see. Took a few hours to actually get it all done but in the end I was really pleased with the end result.

This is NOT a balsa wood kit
This model is not balsa wood - it is made from 2mm thick 3 ply hardwood. I use gorilla wood glue for assembly. I do not consider this kit to be anything other than difficult. You require a lot of patience to assemble the kit as some of the parts like wing ribs are fragile - & there are 42 of them to each wing! You also need common sense to follow the instructions. The laser cutting is generally good but some parts are a very tight fit & have to be dry fitted & possibly eased before gluing - the wing ribs & leading edge particularly. However, the end result will give you a feeling of satisfaction of a job well done.
