Pup is a 20 lb rescue Parson Terrier. True to its breed, he does everything fast, including eating. I have tried all the dog dishes recommended for preventing a dog from gulping his food. None worked. This large lick pad is the answer. I feed my dog Freshpet food and I cut it up and spread it around the pad, lightly pressing the food down.Ollie spends about 15 minutes eating and savoring his meal. I also use it for stress time or company for dinner time, spreading a t. of peanut butter, T of yogurt or organic pumpkin.I highly recommend, as does Ollie, this lick pad.

Good mat. But says its dishwasher safe. While I never put it in the dishwasher, I do wash it in very, very hot water. Mat is now warped and I believe it's because if the hot water. I would imagine a dishwasher would warp it even more.

I had purchased other Licki mats that were very thin and my dogs ripped them up. These mats are heavy weight and hold up to bigger dogs. My guys go crazy when my pumpkin peanut butter mix comes out of the refrigerator because they know the Scottie dog is going to be covered with goodness. The best lick mat out there.

Purchased this one bc it was supposed to be "indestructible" my dog completely chewed up his licky mat, thought this would be better...NOPE! chewed up some of the edges on this one too....other than that...nice size, cute design and heavy duty

120lb dog, works well, cleaning it is ok, just spray down.

My dogs love this! I put a dab of peanut butter on each corner and it keeps them busy. I love it! This is the best idea and the clean up is easy.

This is a great idea. It kept my dog busy. He did end up chewing through it though. I will say it lasted longer then most products (a whole week).

This lick mat is very nice, large, heavy, and fun to look at (for me, I don't think my dog cares). My only note would be that because the nose, eyes and tongue are raised they chew off VERY easily, so I have to watch my dog closely when using this mat. Otherwise, it's a great product.
