Author compiles information and adds value
This book was a simple, enjoyable, quick read. Dan Johnston compiled information from the internet about your personality type - technically, you could do this yourself, but the book does it for you well with a few insights from the author. I admire him for publishing this himself although a tad more editing would have been appreciated. The author also offers additional value in providing worksheets to maximize how much you absorb and apply from the book; in addition, he offers you the opportunity to enroll in a 5-part email workshop series. Clearly, he wants you to get the most out of reading the book. Overall, I enjoyed the book and it clearly showed me how to work on improving myself.

Jung is my favorite, and this test
In the past year two signigicant items stand out which have helped me immensely. One of them is Susan Cain's definitive book on introversion. The other is the re-discovery of the Myers-Briggs test. Of the early pioneering phychiatrists, Jung is my favorite, and this test, based on Jung's theories, has served me well.I am an INFJ. Through and through. INFJ stands for: Introverted, iNtuitive, Feeling, Judging. (The book explains this well) My temperament is apparently one of the most rare (1% of the population) and believe me, I am not bragging. It means growing up and believing that "You're weird" is your middle name. But at this point I wouldn't trade it for the world. No two people are alike, including INFJ's. But this book has summed up a lot of common characteristics. The INFJ is often artistic and/or philosophical, artistic, innovative. It includes such luminaries as Mahatma Ghandi, Chaucer, Simone de Bouvoire. The list also includes (unfortunately) Adolph Hitler and Heinrich Himmler. One list even included Jesus, although I think He is much bigger than the Myers-Briggs test. But I digress.INFJ'S more often than not are sensitive people and in spite of appearances are introverted. As I read this, I was amazed at how close it came to my own personality. I am friendly and I can and do initiate conversations and value my friendships. Like many INFJs, I'm often mistaken for an extrovert, but I'm not. I mind my own business almost to a fault, and while I'm not a hermit, I still prefer small groups to huge ones, and I need time alone to recharge my inner batteries. I can be very talkative - exceot when I'm not - and am independent individualist to the core.I strongly recommend reading these series on the personality types. Human beings can't be shoved into boxes, but studies on general characteristics can help us to be more comfortable in our own individual skin.

This was a great little book
This was a great little book. And when I say LITTLE that's what I mean. There wasn't much to it. The information doesn't go much deeper than your average myers-briggs summary of the type. You can read most, if not all of the information online.

A truly empowering book for the INFJ
I recently took the Myers Briggs Personality Test and discovered that I am an INFJ male. This book succintly explains the strengths and weaknesses of being an INFJ. Other topics included dating tips and socialising tips. The more I read about the INFJ personality type the more it leaves me intrigued. INFJ's have an amazing ability to be both goal oriented and caring. This book does a great job of explaining various psychology jargon which will ultimately help you understand yourself better. If you as an INFJ can develop your S, T and P side, you can truly become superhuman. I highly recommend this book!

So good, my toes were well beyond pruned.
Was it good??? Well I started (and finished) it in the tub. I had to re-heat the water a few times. A great read. I felt "heard" although I was reading. I felt understood as well...shocker. Questions answered, new questions asked, and most of all validated; in an unconventional way. The treat at the end is worth it all.

INFJ
An easily relatable, pleasant read for people with this personality type. Some repeated information and typos are distractingly unprofessional, taking the credibility of the work down considerably.

An INFJ must read!!!
Dan is the author of an easy read here. If you are an INFJ, this book serves as a guide to who you are and what makes you tick. The strengths portion helps you to label the areas you should tap into, where the weaknesses portion highlights where you struggle. It gives practical advice for reducing weakness. The book gave me lots to think about. Very enjoyable.

The best INFJ kindle book of them all - thank you Dan! You're an admirable guy for doing this work.
I have bought about 10 of the INFJ kindle books and this is by far the best. It condenses the most pertinent information which makes it the most purposefully written and impactful. It was a sudden sort of, 'ah haaaaa' moment. As to why, that's just the way I am. I don't have to fight, I can just accept it, learn about how INFJs generally behave and think and use the knowledge of typical INFJ strengths and weaknesses to help meenjoy life more and achieve my potential. For anyone who's an INFJ, do yourself a huge favour and buy this book. I've read the negative reviews and I would say don't be put off by them :-)

Fantastic!
I found this book very helpful and informative. As an INFJ I have read bits online before but it was great to have so much information about my type in one book. It has really helped me to understand myself and to be more compassionate towards myself! I especially like the sections on 'Your secret strengths' and 'Your kryptonite' and the chapter on careers. I recognised myself in lots of the information but have also learnt a lot of new things, especially about how I can come across to others, which is always helpful to know! It is a book that you can refer back to time and time again. Highly recommended for any INFJs or those who want to understand one better!

Captivating but rather short
It is very well-written! There are some very helpful points that thoroughly change my perspective on things. However, some of the practical guidance could have been expanded further.

Great Read
This is one of a series of books by Dan Johnston focusing on the natural strengths and weaknesses of the different personality types associated with the Myers Briggs test. This particular book focuses on personality type INFJ. You can find out your personality type by taking a free Myers Briggs test online. This book is great if you are an INFJ as it tells you what your natural strengths are and how you can improve on the weaknesses associated with your personality type. Even if you are not an INFJ this is an interesting read if you are interested in psychology or if you know any INFJ's. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book and the would recommend it along with the other books in the series to fellow INFJ's and those looking to gain a greater understanding of the 16 different personality types.
