Absolutely amazing set. Well worth the price.
This is an absolutely amazing LEGO set. While assembling it, I was totally astonished at the size and extraordinary detail. The gate opens with ease, and the laboratory and helipad make it look even larger. The huge amount of features is stunning. Not to mention, the purchase of this building kit is one of the only two ways to obtain a mini figure of Doctor Henry Wu (played by B.D. Wong in the movie) and the extremely neat little crystal that represents a chunk of amber, with a mosquito printed on the side. Also, one of the interesting features I noticed is that on Dr. Wu's DNA sequencing monitor in the lab, Mr. DNA is represented. Also, the Indominus Rex dinosaur is the only Jurassic World LEGO dinosaur to have double jointed arms. They can pivot at the shoulder, and the wrist can turn a full 180 degrees. Unfortunately the set has a rather small amount of mini figures, and the absence of Owen Grady makes it a little less accurate to the movie. Also, the gyro sphere's seat occasionally becomes caught on the plastic casing, though I'm sure it will soon wear down and roll with ease. And finally, the fence that splits open never appeared in the movie, as the Indominus escaped through the gate. But other than that, this great set shipped very quickly and I am extremely pleased with my purchase. I would recommend this to any Jurassic Park or Jurassic World fan.

Hours of fun!!
My 7yr old son loved it!! The indominus rex itself wasnt as big as he was hoping but it still made him very happy and he plays with it for hours at a time with his other dinosaurs. There were about 12 bags to put together and literally a book of instructions to show you how to do it step by step. My son was able to follow the picture instructions by himself and only needed us to help with the sliding gate. All in all, he still loves it and we love that. Worth the money which he actually earned with his good grades and helping out with some yard work. As always, do not let small children around the lego set as there are SEVERAL small pieces that can be a dangerious threat. Our son is only allowed to play with this in his room with the door closed or on the kitchen table...we have a 9mth old anfand she is not allowed in his room.

Perfect for 6 year olds who love Dinosaurs
This Lego set was purchased for my 6 year old son to help keep him occupied while we are still getting the hang of having a newborn at home. My son was able to follow the directions very easily, unlike some other Lego sets he has had. He didn't require any assistance. It did take him 2 days to put it together but he was so proud he did it by himself. This is his third big Lego set and the first one that he did by himself. He loves dinosaurs so this was naturally a hit.It is built to lego standards so it is great quality like always.

Perfect dino lover set
What an awesome Lego set! My son has just gotten into Legos, and he love love loves dinosaurs. We purchased him one of the smaller Jurassic World lego sets for his birthday, and then he had to collect them all. The Indominous Rex that comes with this set is so cool, and my son loves making him break out of the cage. The entire enclosure can come apart and has great moving parts to it. Legos are super expensive, but the joy that he had opening it and putting it together was all worth it.

Overpriced, but amazing set with unique features!
Pros:- unique Indominus Rex, extremely detailed with printing running through its entire body, its mold will probably never be used again, unless another Jurassic World movie and LEGO set come out- Gyroshpere, super happy LEGO managed to find a way to create it, it actually rolls forward without much pushing at all, figure inside is "protected" and is kept upright- paddock comes with crane, helipad, small helicopter, Dr. Wu's lab, opening front gate, another fence that can be broken downCons:- overpriced for only 4 minifigures and 1 dinosaur- only 2 minifigures (Dr. Wu and Zach) are star characters from the showIf you can afford it, go ahead and buy it. It's an amazing set, just overpriced for what it offers. You will have to buy other sets if you want some play value.

Excellent.
My 5-year old grandson put this together entirely by himself. The direction booklet is visual, very detailed, easy enough for an advanced and determined 5-year old. Each step is in a separate bag. It went very well. He did a marathon, taking breaks after 3-hour stints of assembly, for probably a total of 12 hours assembly time. Loved it. Then end product is fun for him to play with, and he knows how to put things back together when his 3-year old brother messes with it.
