Best soap ever!!
I purchased this bar of soap after reading so much of Aleppo soap. Given the fact that my skin is so sensitive, I told my self, "lets give it a try"I was impressed on how fast it arrived. It didnt came in the cotton bag...but instead plastic sealed wraped. Of course to have the cotton bag was not my intention when I purchade the soap :).Anyways, the label attached has info related to the uses this soap is intended, the ingredients, place of manufacture and even an expiration date :) 4yrs!! Wow thats impressive. But I think is because of the curing time Aleppo Soaps have.I was also curious on see if in fact the soap floats...yup, it floats! The size is huge! Is an 8 ounces bar! So good! I wonder how much it last to me...The texture is a rustic and a great one, the smell is pleasant...reminds me to the rain. The lather is so creamy and it does leave your sking silky and smooth. So far no rash, hence my skin accepted and tolerated it :)I totally recommend it! Ill continue buying it! Give it a try, you wont be dissapointed!!

Unique experience
The soap came nicely packaged. It looks very rustic, smells very earthy, but in a good way. I like that it's pretty light so if I drop it it will not cause a huge damange LOL. It lathers well and doesn't seem to easily come apart in the humid shower. It reminds me of the soviet household soap, so nostalgia probably plays a role. Feels good on skin so far, I can't vouch if it has any moisturizing or cosmetic properties yet.

As described except for the bag
The soap came quickly, it is the right soap (I have been getting it from various vendors). However, I chose this particular seller because description said "with cotton bag". The soap arrived in a beat-up box (not suitable for gifting), no bag.

Good,mild soap for the skin.
It's a great soap, with some antiseptic properties because of the Laurel Oil. It has a unique scent, lathers well and my skin stays smooth and moisturized. I use it occasionally as a shampoo to strip put residue left by my regular shampoo and conditioner. It's a hard bar but it does lather well and lasts for quite some time.

Warning! Severe Allergic Reaction!
I bought this for my adult daughter. The first time she used it she loved it because it's much more moisturizing than olive oil soap. But the next day she had a severe Allergic Reaction with bumps all over her skin, itching & burning on the body parts she'd washed with the soap.Since she didn't know if the soap had caused the reaction or not, she washed different body parts with it the following day, & 24 hours later she developed the same severe rash there too.She had to go to the doctor for prescription cream & Benadryl. But after 4 days she had to call the doctor again for a stronger cream, plus steroids. The doctor wants her to report the soap as a health hazard & is emailing her the reporting information. This is the first time my daughter has had an allergic reaction to a skin product. She also developed an allergy to eating strawberries last year, but I don't think that's related.I googled it & found information that Laurel Oil causes allergic reaction in some people. She's not allergic to Olive Oil, but I also read that some people are.So if you buy this soap, test it on one part of your body & wait a couple of days to see if there's a reaction before using it again. She has scheduled an appointment with an allergist to have the skin patch tests to pinpoint which things she's allergic to. I'll update when she gets the results.UPDATE: My daughter was diagnosed with a life-threatening allergy to tree nuts. She had to go to the emergency room after eating a cashew bar caused anaphylactic shock. She has to carry an EpiPen now. Her allergist believes there was either a tree nut oil in this soap that's not listed in the ingredients, or there was cross contamination with tree nuts during manufacturing. Using this soap is what initially triggered her allergy symptoms. Don't use it if you have a nut allergy. Also, she mentioned to my dad, who's an MD, that she was having an allergic reaction to a natural soap, he replied that it's common for natural products to trigger allergic reactions.

Minimal Ingredients & Amazing Earthy Smell for A More Natural Lifestyle
This soap is one of the biggest changes to a natural lifestyle you can make. You can't really got wrong with a soap recipe thats been around for so long. Its ingredients are simple and the size of this bar is a plus; can be cut down into smaller more manageable pieces, but careful as soap can be a bit brittle if you cut the piece too thin. It has an amazing earthy smell to it thats others equate to the smell of stone after a rainy day of which I agree. My skin feels smooth and I have comfort in knowing I'm not drying my skin out with high-chemical products. The soap comes wrapped and sealed in a burlap sack, which I could of done without, but I can reuse it for something nice. Overall, it's a great purchase.
