This is perfect for the space, good size and gorgeous color! It took 3 hours of frustration to assemble and not everything lined up as it should, definitely a 2 person job. Everyone calls it a park bench and I would have to agree that it's not the most comfortable to sit on. Overall, I am happy and just love looking at it!

Update from 18 months later:It still looks amazing, is still sturdy, and although it's a bit small, I've taken plenty of naps on it :) One of my best buys from Amazon!This took quite some time to put together, but it was worth it! It’s very sturdy, I’ve taken naps on it (with my legs dangling off the edge - it’s small). The color was slightly darker than I expected, but it brings much needed drama to my home office.

I agree with most reviews on assembly and comfort, but will reiterate that two people can assemble it in an hour or two max, and it's absolutely a stunning, sturdy, heavy piece.

Smaller than appears on site and assembly is a bit difficult definitely a two person job it’s heavy wood it’s a beautiful piece but smaller than described

I bought this for a production of Arsenic and Old Lace. I had the kids put it together. Directions were pretty easy to follow. The only negative is one of the wood dowels to connect the back to the arm does not want to stay in.
