Great for upgrading
Bought this guitar primarily to see what it was like, always fancied a tele and wanted an experiment. Like others have said, it needs a good setup out of the box. Action was way too high, so a bit of adjustment was very much needed. Change of strings and the addition of a new pickup set and pickguard (personal choice) and I was done. For a beginner, the pickups are more than adequate, but for those expecting a little more then I would advise an upgrade (I can wholeheartedly recommend Toneriders). If you’re then fussed on a name, then don’t buy but it is now a highly capable guitar. Fully recommended.
