This mat is exceptional. It is very sturdy amd does not wiggle around even when we walk on it. It's surface is easy to wipe clean. It also looks nice too. The cushion is great because I do alot of cooking so having this mat to stand on is great!

I have two of these. My first is 4 1/2 years old, and still in great condition. My second is about a month old. Both are great. Without overstating, this mat is a game changer for me. I don't know what I'd do without it. It hurts bad for me to sit; but also it hurts to stand if I'm standing for long periods. I tried another brand of mat, and it did not work for me. This gelpro is good with or without shoes. But let me tell you—it will perfectly hug your feet if you're just wearing socks. The only downside is they do walk on you. My office has carpet, and though it does walk, it takes longer. My newer one is not on carpet and it is annoying how it never wants to stay in place. But it won't slide while you're standing on it, and it won't slide when you step onto it. It's more that it moves like an inch worm as you step on it. I never notice it moving; I only notice that it has moved. It's easy enough to move back to place. I will not go without one. Really I've not bothered cleaning it. I think I've wiped it down once and I sweep it off every now and then. My old one has no stain, still looks good, and 'm not eating off it. So comfortable and such a back saver. Worth every penny!

Rolled up in a tube so the edges crinkled on both sides a little. But after couple hours it did flatten out.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love the plush gel. I ended up buying multiple mats. Pain relief: standing on these has really increased my comfort while cooking, washing dishes, and doing laundry. Look: The peach and blues on cream color and the pattern are stylish and remind me of an oriental or boho rug.

Previously I had some less expensive gel rugs. One of the biggest issues was that they moved easily. I was constantly moving them back into place. These rugs have stayed in place. This is one of the most impressive positives. They are very comfortable. I cook a lot of food to be served for free meals provided in rural areas around us. I have plantar fasciitis, bone spurs, and other foot issues. With these mats, I am able to stay on my feet cooking all day.--with no pain. The size of these mats is great. Other mats I have used are too deep; when I placed one in front of my kitchen island and one in front of the counter behind the island, they almost touched. This made my kitchen, which is fairly large, look as though the floor was covered in mats. These are deep enough to make standing comfortable while leaving a lot of space between mats that are placed across from each other. I have four of these in my kitchen and am extremely happy with them. They are pricey compared to most other mats, but I think they are well worth it. Time will tell if the edges hold up better than those I had. I have spent a lot of money purchasing less expensive mats. Some were fairly comfortable, but the edges frayed on all them fairly quickly. None were as comfortable as these GelPro mats. I will purchase more for other areas of the home.

UPDATE: I left both mats lying flat for 3 days then upside down for a week hoping their own weight would help get the ripples out. The smaller mat that only had mild wrinkles recovered and looks great will keep it. The longer mat still has all the ripples on one end. The mild wrinkles on the other end (not pictured) did come out. It makes me wish I had kept the original long mat since the bad end was not AS bad as the second mat. I give up, I will have to box up and return it AGAIN! Great mat, great comfort, great color, but DO NOT order them until GelPro and Amazon can figure out how to get them to customers without damaging them. I ordered my first one several weeks ago. When I opened the box the mat had ripples in the vinyl on both ends, though one end (pictured above in first picture) was much worse. I called the number for GelPro and they told me that that can happen sometimes during shipping, but that I should lay them mat out flat and they should work their way out in about 72 hours. I waited a full week but they did not come out so GelPro said I needed to contact Amazon. I was not impressed. Amazon customer service was great, though! They sent someone to pick up the mat at my house since they are big and heavy and shipped out a new one that arrived today. The new mat has bad ripples on BOTH ends - see second picture above. I also ordered a smaller 20x30 for in front of my sink, and it also arrived with ripples on both ends though not nearly as noticeable, and I think those might work their way out. I think the problem is that they are storing and/or shipping the boxes upright and they really need to lay flat during storage and during shipping and delivery or the weight of the gel filled mat caused the vinyl to crease and stretch. FYI both those pictures are the truffle color but just different lighting.

Due to the difficulty I have with my feet and legs I find the step up onto the mat hard to do therefore I am quite nervous of it

My mother bought GelPro and rhey have lasted for years. I bought this in September 2024 as an expensive treat and the bottom was already split. It was shipped to me rolled up instead of flat. I wonder if the created a stress. Has been on my kitchen floor lightly used in a one person home. Anyway…needless to say. Quite disappointed 😞… Beautiful pattern, perfect for home. Just not durable.

Ok, yes, they are expensive but they L A S T! And they are really good. I’m on my third (no, they didn’t wear out but I find new places for them. I have two in my kitchen and I have to jockey for my place on them: my really old decrepit lurcher wants to lie there. I’ve balked at the price and bought other brands before and lived to regret it. Even the dogs don’t like the other brands as well. I’m thinking that maybe I need to buy another one — so the dogs can lie on it and I can have foot space in the kitchen…
