Did not work as advertised

This tape works for a very short time. I used it to secure a smll kids painting (no frame, very light, just canvas on a board) on the wall. It fell less than a week later. Useless. And I used two long strips of this tape, from one corner of the picture to the other corner, thinking it will be forever.There is absolutely no way it will hold a hammer or any other heavy object.
