Echo Valley 30113 18-Inch Illuminarie Hose Guide, Set of 3

The ball of 2 out of 3 was not attached to the stake when they arrived. Since there was not sufficient air packaging to prevent them from moving in the box, this was likely where they became damaged. I used some glue to reattach the ball and we will see how it holds. I do like the look of them and like that there is a movable piece for the hose to roll along.

I'd purchased 3 of these a few years back and liked them enough to buy about 10 more for my garden.The glow was pretty dim, but still looked kind of cool in the dark.Unfortunately, when I placed the new ones where they were needed, which was in a less sunny spot, there was barely any luminescence at all.Worse yet, I learned in less than a year that they didn't hold up well. The paint job was insubstantial and so did little to prevent rust. And Echo Valley was even stingy with the glue meant to hold the dim little orbs in place, so they all fell out over time and some were lost.Because they are a pretty design, when I saw them recently for a reduced price, I thought I'd give Echo Valley another chance. Mistake. The stakes appear to be of an even lower quality if the sloppy, crappy paint job is anything to go by.What a shame companies like Echo Valley (& many others these days) sell loads if of junk soon destined for the landfill, when just a little more pride in workmanship and care for the customer & a little less greed would solve the problem.

Still having a problem with some globes being detached from support. Some glue won’t work to fix. Looks nice on ones that globe is attached.

The "twirl" at the top is not symmetrical and not centered. It looks like they bent it wider to get the ball in, but didn't bend it back when they glued the ball in. Also, one ball was not attached to it's mounting cup and was loose in the packaging. I ordered quantity three and all three packages (3 items per package) had the same problems as stated. The good thing is they feel and look quite sturdy. If you can get past their appearance problems then they should last a long time. We'll see.

These look nice and are sturdy. I bought six of these (2 sets of three) and 4 of the six came with the ball unattached. I had to take superglue to reattach them. Also, they light up but only for a very short time. I have never seen them glowing in my yard but if I take them in a dark room after exposing them to light they do light up.

I like the hose guides, but the glass ball in two of them were broken off. I fixed them easily.

Best price for a durable and good looking hose guide. One of the 3 glass balls arrived detached in the bottom of box. A couple drops of glue and it has been fine the rest of summer. Novel little luminescence just after dusk.

I love these hoses guides and want more and am unable to get any more so have an incomplete set for my needs.
